Overall I enjoyed this story very much. I liked the heroine right away. She is outspoken, understands the culture of her small town and accepts it and the people just as they are. The romances and challenges are interesting and emotional. I especially enjoy books that include family and friends that have their own personalities without becoming stereotypical. This book does that. The book is well written and edited.

Talk about meant to be together!
Though heartaches, broken dreams and life's tragedies, the human spirits resilience is truly amazing!
Meredith quits her job and moves back home for a new start. Leaving behind a boss that won't take no for an answer. She wants to be her own boss, in business and life and makes all the moves to do so.
Landry is the new owner of the small town cafe. He has sworn off women, that is until he meets Meredith. Her 'natural allure' and fun loving attitude pull him in from the first time they meet. (loved the peepshow)
I love reading a book that can take my emotions and make me feel right along with the characters.
The h comes off as this fun-loving free spirit but, the things in her past make you realize that although some of it is a cover-up of emotions, she is an example of what the human spirit can endure and survive it, coming out stronger on the other side. The story about the red back-splash had me reaching for the tissue. The bejeweled hammer, too funny.
Landry comes off as a jerk on more then one occasion (i almost didn't like him) but he redeems himself.
I have to say, Phillip, , , A**hole!
HEA. Funny. Sexy. Unpredictable.

Crazy for you is one of them stories that goes to show that True love always wins. Meredith was a quirky girl who look at life and it's ups and down in an offbeat kind. When she decides to move home after living it up in the city with a great job of 5 years she needs a change .One of the first places she goes is the diner she worked in growing up only to find it had a new owner a very hunky owner only one problem she was done with men for now .Landry was the new owner who after many years of a great job which left him set for life needed a change. Landry had sworn off women but when he meets Meredith and the two become great friends the feels the both have for one another develop in to more then friendship.Things take a turn when they act on it and people and secrets from the past come to light .Will the friendship survive or will they part ways.

WOW, Amazing book
I can't remember when I laughed and cried so much from one book. This is an amazing love story with lots of twists. Two people who have sworn off the opposite sex and are attracted to each other. You find in the book that their lives have crossed paths before several times without either of them knowing it. This book is filled with love of so many types and heartache so intense it will make you cry. So very well written and entertaining that I could not put down until I finished the book.

I didn't even know Mandy M Roth had a pen name for a different kind of series!

I liked the book. I found Meredith funny and charming. Landry was great too and they were good for each other. What I don't like in the book is how Landry kept blowing hot and cold, and how some situations in it called for a drawn out, lengthy discussion or monologue. Like during the Philip incident. And how when two characters discuss something serious, completing forgetting the other person(s) in the room... like when Samson and Meredith were discussing the room and all of a sudden it was as if Landry wasn't there at all...only for him to say something towards the end...and made me think, oh he was there the whole time...or was he just eavesdropping?

If it wasn't for those, I'd like the book more. I do get that you need to explain stuff but it felt a little overdone here.

Thanks Ms. Kovit for a copy of the book.

A hard book to review as I struggled with the first half over a long period of time. I can read a book in no time but I kept picking this up and putting it down as I just didn’t like the characters.
Not sure why I persevered as I wasn’t reading what the reviews were saying. Until the second half of the book. Then it started to make sense a bit more.
Past experiences explained a lot about Meredith and her behaviour. Still didn’t like her that much but did feel sorry for her.
Landry, and I disliked that name, was a weak leading man. He just annoyed me with his hot and cold attitude. I also don’t understand why he was letting Mary Sue sit on his lap in the club. Doesn’t make that kiss seem like nothing.
Now I have finished it I will be honest and say I will never pick it up again.

This is a phenomenal read! I had no idea one of my favorite authors had a pen name, this is TOTALLY different from what she normally writes. One thing that isn't different is the quality of the writing. It pulls you in from the first sentence and makes you feel every emotion, sometimes simultaneously! It has copious amounts of humor and snark, a good bit of romance, and is all around entertaining. Lol, I am trying to not give any spoilers so I will just say that this is an incredible feel good story that will leave you looking for more!! Thank you for this gem!

Best book I've read in a long time!! I fell in love with the town, the character's, the writing style and every other thing in this book. This story pulled on all the emotions. I'm not a writer, so my reviews are always in terms of what I thought of the book, not a book report, the author can tell you about the book summery better than I can. What I can say is that if you like humor and romance, you do NOT want to miss this book. Such an awesome story, I did not want it to end.

I have read a million other books in this authors pen name, Mandy Roth. This was different from her normal supernatural writing, but I really liked it. Meredith is definitely unique and odd and you'll wonder about her tragic past. Landry has "sworn off women" and is "safe" for her to be around. Safe doesn't prevent attraction & chemistry. Love a good slow burn story. All the side characters are great too. I wish I had a brother like Samson.

It’s about a woman who got her heart broken so badly that she never thought she would love again. This book made me laugh and cry so much. Landry and Meredith’s paths have crossed multiple times in the past. Now they actually noticed each other and they both swear off the opposite sex. It was difficult to put down.

This was an enjoyable read that I finished in one sitting. It moves along at a nice pace making for an easy read. The characters are so real that you feel as though you know them and no matter what you want to be there for them. The story will keep you interested and reading till the end. This is a must read.

Crazy for You starts out a little odd. It is written in first person and you are thrown into Meredith’s POV and life without much build up. You later learn more about her and her story but the beginning kinda threw me off. At first I did not like Meredith at all. She was too brassy and in your face. She would have private conversations in a diner with half of her small town present and not think anything of them all knowing her business. To me, that went a little beyond small town openness to downright nuts. There is also a strange dynamic with her brother that was a little odd until you learn more of their back story.

Despite my disliking of the opening of the story I did get invested enough in the characters to want to see what would happen. I will admit that Meredith did grow on me. As her story is revealed I began to really care for her character and was often saddened, enraged, happy ect. as time went on.

Landry (which I kept misreading as Laundry, I wasn’t a big fan of the name) was a hero with his flaws. he doesn’t want to be in a relationship so he has decided to swear off women but he keeps flirting with Meredith who flirts back. I have to admit I loved the interactions with these two. The were so cute and acted like an old married couple instead of people that had only known each other for a few days or weeks.

There is quite a bit of out of proportion drama in my eyes. I don’t want to give any spoilers but Landry does something really dumb and Meredith gets mad. She spends weeks mad at him and after a few over-blown fights with other people and him as a periphery character, she seems to get over it fairly quickly. I felt like the ending was rushed. It seemed like Kovit wanted to tie everything up in a neat bow at the end but, even given the leeway that fiction must get, it was a little far fetched. I would have rather there have been an epilogue with the final scenes taking place a few months later instead of having them be on the heels of the main characters big fight.

*Spoilers*
I just don’t think that I can suspend reality enough that after a huge fight where the couple doesn’t speak for weeks, they have another fight that culminates in them getting back together . Then straight into a marriage proposal when she is still worried that he doesn’t really love her? I just don’t think so. I think more time should have been spent on Landry earning back Meredith’s trust.
*End spoilers*

Overall I did enjoy the book. There were several laugh out loud moments as Meredith is a very amusing character. There were also great secondary characters that have a lot of depth and would be interesting as leads in their own stories.

***A gifted copy was provided by the author for my honest review****

What a crazy beginning to a great story. Meredith has come home after some disappointing times in her life. She is tired of men trying to keep her down; tired of them holding all the power so she has come home so she can start her dream job after her boss made it impossible for her to keep her last job unless she put out more or less when all she wants to do is just be friends. She moved back home, is staying with her dad while she goes all in and opens her dream job , an antique shop and just enjoy her life now that she has her dream in her sights. BUT then Landry gets in those sights and it’s like Meredith becomes entranced and her vision waivers. She didn’t want to worry about a the opposite sex and here is the hunk. Landry left his high stressed job behind and moved town to take ownership of the diner. He wasn’t expecting romance or was he expecting Meredith. Meredith wasn’t expecting Landry—here the universe has put these two people in the path in meet. Cosmic Intervention, wouldn’t say? This story hasn’t such a wonderful flow between the MC. There is times you will be looking for tissues and literally within a matter of minutes, laughing out loud. When reading this story, you find yourself rooting for the MC. Their story of heartbreak, of up and downs- of finding their way to each other and just realizing that their lives have continued to intersect at certain times. Hopefully this time it will be for good. I enjoyed this story , I cried, laughed and rooted for the MC. I recommend this story because I couldn’t put it down until the very end. Meredith and Landry had a story that needed to be told and this was such a story that kept the reader hooked until the very end.

UPDATE: SEPTEMBER 2016. I LOVE TO REREAD BOOKS, THIS TIME, I ADDED THE AUDIO WHICH IS ON SALE FOR AN UNBELIEVABLE PRICE. IF IT IS THE FIRST TIME OR SECOND TIME AROUND, LISTEN TO THIS ONE FOR HEA LOVE STORY OF FAMILY SUPPORT AND RECOVERY FROM A PAST OF PAIN.

I love Mandy Roth books even when she is writing as Kennedy Kovit. I am always amazed at how much story, emotion and humor she can put into a book.

Meredith comes home to rebuild her life on her own, but near friends and family. No more big city, no more wealthy powerful men, just her new shop and her new life. She didn't count on Landry and he didn't count on her. He too is making a new life in a new small town away I love Mandy Roth books even when she is writing as Kennedy Kovit. I am always amazed at how much story, emotion and humor she can put into a book.

He's off women for now, he has to remind himself and ask Meredith to remind him when they get together. They try to convince themselves that friendship is all they want--not happening.

You will laugh at her wacky nature and openness, especially when you find out about her life. A touching love story you shouldn't miss.

Meredith returns to her hometown after leaving her antiques job in the city. After another run n with her boss, who wants her to be more than his assistant. Why can't he just be her friend? That's all she ever wanted from him. She didn't lead him on like the other gold-digging bimbos!! Now she's back living with her dad temporarily whilst she sets up her own store. Her over-protective brother is the local sheriff and he's keeping a close eye on her. Mer is known for living in her own little bubble of reality.

When she meets Landry, the new owner of the towns diner, it's like having a new instant best friend. They just click and even better he has sworn off women!

Landry moved from the city to this small town to find himself and learn to be happy without the cut and thrust of the business world. He loves being around Mer, but she is constantly pushing his buttons and his ethos of swearing off women becomes his mantra when dealing with the very appealing Mer.

No spoilers here but I will say this is not your average rom-com book! Yes there are heavy dosed of fun and comedy but there are real heart-wrenching moments when we see what Mer has been through. How she was still standing I'll never know. I dare you not to loathe her ex by the end of the book! I will mention that the mosaic in her kitchen had me in tears!! There is a real sense of serendipity in the book and we see how some of the characters have met (or almost met) at major points in their lives.

Sexy scenes, pub brawls and sarky best friends, this book has it all!!

I was provided a copy of this story in return for an honest review.

I loved this story! Meredith was quirky and full of laughter. I enjoyed her sense of fun and her ability to see the good even though she has lived a heartbreaking life. She refused to let her past destroy her. She re-built herself from pain and disillusion into someone stronger, or did she? Landry has crossed paths with Meredith in so many ways only neither was aware of it. But when he had an actual conversation with ehr, they clicked. Too bad neither is looking for love. But I think that is when the best love stories are told; when love finds you at the moment you least expect it to. Neither Meredith or Landry were ready for what they could mean to each other. I loved that Ms. Kovit did not make the journey easy even as their friendship blossomed. This story had me in stitches even as I enjoyed seeing small town living at its best. You will laugh. You will cry. You will thoroughly enjoy seeing Landry and Meredith find their happily ever after.

OH MY GOD!!!!

This book is so high up on emotions that it had my crying my balls out on more than one occasion.

Mer returns to her hometown after being away for many years.
Now she is back to face her demons.
Meeting up Landry is like finding a best friend for ever and he is sworn of women!

Landry moved from the city to this small town to find himself and be away from the noisy and the money of his family and be simply himself.
Meeting up with mer is the best thing that ever happened to him and lucky him she is not willing than anything more than friendship.

And thats about what i am going to say about the book....i do not want to give out spoils.

An awesome book wtih strong characters that will make you cry and laugh and curse and laugh again.
Sexy hot steamy sex scenes and awesome brawls and fist fight this book has it all!

No matter under what name Mandy writes...she is always doing it for me.

This is a great story about two people who were fated to meet each other. Meredith and Landry are two lonely people who meet in the same day Meredith returns home after a four year absence to open an antique story and Landry is the new owner of the town diner. Sparks fly from the moment these two meet but neither want a relationship. There are lots sexual charged scenes and these two habe you cheering for them to overcome their pasts and give love a chance. The secondary characters bring a lot to the story and I hope, one day Samson and Natasha get their story. Also Jer need his own book also. This book offers a lot of laughs but tear also. This is book is written under a pen name of one of my favorite authors and is different from any other book she has written in the past but I really enjoyed it.

This book is a little outside my usual reading genre...and I almost passed it up because of that. I am so glad I didn't!! I loved the main character Meredith!! This book made me laugh out loud so many times due to Meredith's quirky nature and the things she would do or say. I loved her attitude towards life, how even though she has had so many disappointments she was still able to have a positive outlook. The relationship with her and Landry was a little strange...how they seemed almost connected from the start, even though they both tried to fight it. And all the connections to his family which went unknown throughout most of the story. It almost seemed like karma with them ending up together in the end. Kennedy Kovit is a new author for me but she has won me over with this book. I am definitely looking forward to her next release.

Great Book!
This is a great book by Kennedy Kovit. This book is full of emotions and will have you laughing and crying by the end of it. Meredith is home again and ready to start her dream of owning her own antique shop. She is sick of powerful men trying to use her and wants to enjoy being single. When she meets the diner’s new owner Landry, she tries her best to stay away from him. Landry has sworn off women because he feels they are nothing but trouble, but he can’t deny the attraction he feels towards Meredith. If you are looking for a great emotional love story then you need to read this book. I am looking forward to reading the next book by this author.

A wonderful, touching and emotional book.

*spoilers*
This wasn't my normal genre, but as she is one of my favourite authors i decided to give it a go and wasn't disappointed.
I was pleasantly surprised and enjoyed the book a lot. I liked the way the characters were developed, you got so many different avenues she could choose as her future.
It gave you the person to love, feel for and hate, i definitly felt like i was there with her.
Now, i found it hard when they spoke about "Shermans" wife and i also found it really hard when they explained what happened to Matthew. But i know after 2 miscarriages i'm more effected than most.
Despite my running out of tissues i would highly recommend this book to anyone, but just know it can be triggering as far as the loss of a loved one especially a child is concerned.

WOW.What a story. The Characters are wonderful. I think the reality of Meredith's character is very identifiable. A lot of us feel like we're not good enough at times. It was suspenseful but through it all I was hoping Landry turned out to be the guy. I love her interaction, seemingly in a separate life, with Sherman never knowing all the events in her life were all connected. So wonderful. So real and just an overall beautiful love story. This is the kind of book they make movies out of.

The book goes through love, lust, heartbreak, heart ache, sorrow and happiness. it covers all aspects of emotions and for me-just sucked me in. I hope there are more to come with the characters in the book-such as Samson and Tasha...
