A book on the truths of the second coming of Christ. Topics Enoch, Antichrist, The Five Horsemen, The Judgement Seat of Christ, and The Church in the Book of Revelation.
This book, though limited in scope and thus only three stars, is not a bad book at all. It is rather a collection of sermons on various aspects of eschatology. Each chapter is a standalone message. The writing is clear, if occasionally repetitive. The work has two main strengths. The first is its doctrinal background and approach is rock solid. The second is the warmth of the author's love for Jesus and for souls comes through quite well. The book works best, I suspect, as a basic primer for those just approaching the subject for the first time.
This book is so convicting! I love how so much scripture is used thoroughly to describe what is to come. The message gives hope to the believer and warning to the unbeliever. There is coming a day when time will run out for anyone to receive God's gift of salvation. "For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believer in him should not perish but have everlasting life." John 3 :16
I agree with most of what Dr. Comfort says but he is very clear in all his teachings. This would make a great read for pastors, laymen, and everyone in between
