Sathyan Anthikkadu is a film director who showed us the innocence and beauty of village life through his movies. The family dynamics, love, small fights, and patch-ups are an integral part of his movies.

I was lucky enough to have an interesting conversation with him in my life. The topic of our discussion transcended from various contemporary issues to politics, to movies, and finally to books.

I was surprised to hear about the number of books that he has read in his life. Reading and constant updation have helped him to a certain extent to make successful movies even after three decades.

This book is a collection of writings by him regarding various experiences from his life. The books he loved, the people he met, and the movies he made are all discussed well by the author in a simple, elegant style.

Very simple language and I read it very fast. The book narrates Sathyan's personal experiences. Thus it was a good feeling to know the incidents in his life.
