Change is the second book in The Lacey Hannigan trilogy.

Eighteen year old Lacey Hannigan always thought her human life was hard and unfair, but now that she is no longer human, her life is about to get a whole lot harder.
Taken away from the man she loves to a remote mountain so that she can learn to adapt to her new life as a newbie werewolf, she is forced to accept changes that she's not ready for, both with her body and her heart. She soon learns that there is alot more to Jesse and Cole than what she thought. The more she learns about them, the more confused and hurt she becomes. Added to the mix of things is the darkness in her mind that makes her think that Cole might not have truly saved her after all.

Secrets will be revealed, lives will be lost and hearts will be broken. And Lacey will be in the center of it all whether she wants to be or not.

OK so I know book one was called Growl and this one is Change, but this book had be Growling. I think I spent the first half of the book in shock. My loyalty to Jesse had me cursing Lacey. And then the ending came and I was like WHAT NO WAY! Now I'm so confused. Sigh! I need some Ice cream or a candy bar. Great now this series has me stress eating. When does book three come out?

I agonised between giving this novel a 2 or 3 rating. The book started off and carried on better than the first, and I can just about say I enjoyed that. It wasn't until the last couple of chapters that it fell right through the floor. The author, definitely put her foot in it.

The last segment was soooo very predictable as to be pathetic. The incentive to read on to the next book completely stomped on and thrown out with the trash.

Herein lies my difficulty. So, I'm going with a three for 4/5ths of the book, and the final 1/5th down to a....1.

Ugh!! Cliffhangers.

I never really thought I would switch which brother I was rooting for, but WOW. What a change.

The characters were still enjoyable. I don't normally enjoy third person, but it works for this.

I cannot wait until I can read the next/final one. I hope (I'm sure it will) end up well.

Jean-Grey of the Wolves

************************SPOILER ALERT*************************************

This installment in the series reminds me a bit of Jean-Grey from the X-Men and the love triangle with Cyclops and Woverine. I am a liittle perturbed with the author a bit for painting Jesse as the bad guy. Couldn't The whole money issue with Father being killed been a misunderstanding. Why did Jesse pay off hunters to kill their father in the first place.

I am wondering if this will go the way of the Phoenix Saga in the movie with just like Wolverine killing Jean Grey who couldn't control The Phoenix; will Cole kill Lacey who can't control her power?

Well, hopefully Jesse will find redemption in the next book and I still want to Lacey with Jesse because I am the kind of person who is faithful and Lacey bugs me with her wishy emotions and easily being seduced into loving Cole.

I guess I could have guessed what was going to happen anyway with Jesse's lack of being in many scenes in this book. Only 4 stars because I wanted Lacey remember how much she loved Jessie and how "pure and sweet" their love was and that trumps "soul" love anyday because soul love is just emotional and chemistry while pure and sweet is spiritual.

These books are like twilight without the glitter. 😜
I cant believe im actually rooting for cole. Rhebonly things that annoy me with this series is 1. Lacey crys. All. The. Damn. Time. Its so frustrating.
2. The whole falling in love in a matter of days. Ive never been a fan of love and first sight thats just my personal preference, it really irritates me. 😂

Wow!

You did it again! This series has twists and turns. Just when you start to love or hate a character, you change your in the end. Great story line, lovable characters. You go through the emotions like a rollercoaster ride!

I really enjoyed this book from how Cole and Lacey's relationship became more close to how the pack reacted to Cole living there. There was some multiple point of view from the beginning of the book but that stopped little less the half way through which i thought was strange. I think it should either have multiple point of view through out the book or just not at all.

The plot was good I loved how Lacey is learning how to become a werewolf and having a darker side to her. It was also nice to see a different type of bad guy in this story who would have thought that female werewolves could be so mean. I also like how he author finally manage to show some friendship building between her and Maggie since we saw none of that in the first book between Lacey and Kindal(basically they became best friends out of no where). Maggie is a good friend to Lacey even standing by her side when everyone else was scared. I find her brave and a great character to the story.

The only real problem I have is that Lacey fell for Cole a bit to fast. He was the one who tormented her then kidnapped her the first time they met and all I can think of is stockholm syndrome?

Quite an interesting twist to this story. The expected is thrown out the window and we are presented with a whole new twist that personally i found refreshing. Lacey when we left her was in a deal with Cole, while Jesse is desperate to find her. My only hate for this twist, is the fact that its hard to accept at first, but not only that but i feel like Lacey dropped her friends so easily even though they were the first people to really accept her. But I will let it go. This story i ends again with the reader desperately seeking out the next, and I believe/hope the final. If you enjoyed the first one, well i can say that i think you will enjoy this one, but be warned you will have to be open-minded. Enjoy your reading experience i did.

So I was pleasantly surprised by how much I loved the direction this story took. I really like Cole. I love it when the author makes you fall in love with the bad guy!

The one thing that annoyed me though was how friendships were formed so quickly. Lacey met Maggie once, treated her kind of crappy but suddenly 2 days later Maggie loves Lacey and they're best friends? I don't like how the author didn't take the time to flesh relationships out, it felt too rushed. But I liked the story as a whole.

Cole was patient with Lacey and slowly she opened up to him and I loved that. I felt like I was finally getting the ending I WISH I would have had in another series... *cough* Nightshade *cough* series *cough cough*

TO SAY THIS BOOK WAS AMAZING IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT!!!!!

First off to the readers who haven't read the first book you need to get started. Second off to those who have you will never believe the plot twist of this book.
I was skeptical that the second book to Growl was going to be predictable, but the more I read the more I got to understanding Lacey's & Coles character. Even though half of this book pissed me off and made me want to strangle some of these characters, it also got me wanting to finish the book faster. IT WAS THAT GOOD. No joke had me crying like a toddler lost her favorite toy. I recommend this book if your into the action and romance even though it makes you question your Sanity READ IT.

I absoluty love this book. In the second installment Lacey gets used to being a wolf and has to get used to Cole. At first you want to hope that she stays true to Jeese but as you read on you see a completly new version of cole that you never expected before and you as well begin to fall for him as he sets out to do whatever possible to make her happy. Lacey fights her feelings for him but eventually discovers that she starts to have feelings for him. Also you discover more of Cole's past and what made him the way he is. An awesome great read that I would diffinitly read over and over again and reccomend to others.

didn't like the fact she droped her first friends that loved her and excepted her that easily for cole but it shows what love can do to a person. i didnt like the fact that she couldn't/didn't tell jesse that she was dying i was rooting for the love for the longest ! Jesse seemed to understand her and wanted her best interest ! but loved the book the whole series at that metter ! wish there was more books !

This one was even better than the first and Omg is there such a twist in the story! This was super unexpected and by this end one part had me crying. You will know it when you get there and you better have some tissues at the ready. If you are seriously bothered by typos then be warned there are a few here and there. But all in all it is a great read I finished in a day and can't wait till I get my hands on the last book.

Great

This book was so much better than the first one. I was so not expecting the role reversal that took place. Lacey's character grew and wasn't the whiny girl she was in the first book.

If you've read the first book and was rooting for Cole, this is going to blow you away.

My edition had a few errors but I was too wrapped up in the story to really give a shite. :P

Sometimes it's nice to see the golden boy knocked off his pedestal and outcast triumph. No plans to reread at this time.
