Finally, an empowering dating guide for every woman who wants to have fun, express her opinions, and keep it real. No cheap tricks, no behavior changes, no nonsense. In Smitten, Ariel Kiley and Simone Kornfeld show women how to let their unique selves shine so they can become blissfully enlightened man-magnets. With tips on how to perfect the look of a flirt, build confidence, and let your true self emerge, Smitten teaches that being exactly who you are will get you what you want—whether it's a smile across the room, a first date, or long-term love. Soon enough, women everywhere will be turning heads and causing men to become completely, absolutely, entirely, downright smitten.
Unlike any other relationship guide before it, Smitten continues to empower readers after the book ends with an “AskSmitten” feature on their website, where readers can ask questions about romance and relationship, sex and self-esteem or anything in between. AskSmitten is available through their website, www.smittenbook.com.
My awesome yoga teacher wrote this book and I really liked it. It's full of wisdom about reconnecting to yourself and enjoying yourself--the idea being that if you're feeling good and having fun, you'll attract others who are too. Worthwhile to read even if you're not single, because it's more about how you relate to you than how you relate to potential dates.
This is a great book for any single girl to read! So positive! It's all about having the confidence to be your total true self and not to have any gimmicks or tricks to catch another person's interest. It's what I'd have wanted to teach a daughter, and here I got to have the same talking to. I just loved this.
The recommendation came from a men's health blog and I expected male or gender neutral advice. There were good reminders throughout about how sexy it is to just be yourself and present, but it is very much directed toward women.
Love, love this book. I'm a boring, married mom, and this book made me want to hit the streets and flex some flirting muscles.
Smitten's prose is flirty, quirky and smart. The voices of authors Ariel Kiley and Simone Kornfeld are unlike any that you've ever read, and you get the sense that they could turn any topic into a hilarious and insightful adventure, which is exactly where you find yourself when you dig into Smitten.
At its core, Smitten is a guidebook for discovering and honoring who you really are, and then having a lot of FUN with that self--- disguised as a guide to flirting. The good news is that if you're looking for a date- Kiley and Kornfeld can get you one. And if you're not, you're sure to learn a lot about yourself, and have some fun in the process.
This year's Valentines themed read was a "how to flirt" book provided a lot of various aspects into how to be more confident, passionate and how to love yourself before you venture out into the world of dating. In particular, the quote "Opening yourself to joy will infuse your actions with a spirit of freedom and play and envelop you in a luminescent energy field" will resonate through you and you'll feel like your good ol beautiful self.
Smitten is witty, powerfully positive and a fantastic resource for any man or woman interested in connecting with people by understanding themselves rather than "changing" themselves. It doesn't matter if you are in a relationship, looking for a relationship or simply looking to have fun, Smitten will give you the confidence and support you need.
Amazing road map to flirting and dating. After I closed the book all I wanted to do is put on some lipstick and go out and flirt! So fun, non judgmental. Unlike other self help or dating books it's actually a pleasure to read. I read the whole book within 3 days because I didnt want to put it down. I've already told all of my ladies about it.
I couldn't get past the writing. It's like going through a perfume section in a mall. It's obnoxious, stinks and I feel like I need to take a shower afterwards.
