I didn't like it as much as the first book, but I swear they do go through a lot of kinks. I think maybe I did not enjoy it because I am not quite as open minded as I'd like to be. :) I just couldn't see myself being so eager to suck a cock that I could overlook the fact that I am in no way attracted to the fat dump egg shaped man :) Not that I have a problem with fat guys. I don't my DH is a big boy and I am very attracted. But Alice does this TWICE with a total of 3 men. Kinda lame.

I loved the author's first book and couldn't wait to read this second one. I was disappointed. While it has plenty of erotic parts in it, the whole story line felt thrown together and left me feeling lost in the whole thing. Would I recommend this book? No. The first book is much, much better.

Again the characters and cleverly incorporated and we're treated to the same hilarious puns and references to the original book.
Where the first book was about exploring the BDSM this one is about having an open mind about the sexual desires and kinks of other.
These books really are a treat. Filled with parody, satire and clever puns. Oh, and sex.

I didn't like this as much as the first. The characters Alice encountered were just too damn annoying in this one. I couldn't even imagine having sex with Humpty Dumpty so I found myself skimming through those pages. I still found the puns amusing and felt this is a clever take on the original. At this point, I think I'll skip the rest of the series.

El segundo libro de la saga Fifty Shades of Alice es un libro un poco más normal que el anterior, por lo menos uno ya está acostumbrado a las cosas raras que aparecen en el país de las maravillas. Aquí Alice encontrará a dos reinas que luchan por el control de político de un país de fantasías. Como ya se imaginarán cuando digo "luchar" no me refiero a una lucha literal... ustedes saben a que me refiero.
En fin, la historia es como Alice intenta abrir su cabeza a aceptar a los que son diferentes a ella y así ser "la nueva reina del País de las Maravillas". Para hacerlo deberá viajar por todos lados conociendo personas con diferentes fetiches sexuales y teniendo diferentes experiencias con ellos.
Al final el libro no es más que una parodia de la clásica novela de Lewis Caroll, pero lo que lo hace realmente interesante es que como novela erótica logra atraparte y hacerte sentir en la carne de los personajes. Además al estar ambientada en el País de las Maravillas, todo es posible y Alice se encuentra con cosas que no solo son excitantes sino extrañas.
Por último, para leer este libro es necesario ir con la mente abierta y con ganas de divertirse. No pensar en que es una atrocidad o algo por el estilo. Es un libro divertido, y por más que sea una parodia, una de las mejores novelas eróticas que leí hasta ahora.

I would actually give this one 3.5 stars but since I can't give half stars I stretched it up since it was overall a fun read. I didn't like this one nearly as well as Fifty Shades of Alice in Wonderland and I shall tell you why.
Make no mistake, this was a fun read. Full of all kinds of satire, don't take this too seriously or you will hate it. Compared to the first book in the Alice series, this one has a broader range of kink. Its an erotica so its definitely rated XXX, no kids allowed. But it goes beyond that. I can say that even I learned a few things lol. My issue with this read is not that it includes fetishes and bondage, but some of the characters were just a bit too creepy for my pleasure. Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum and the scene with Humpty Dumpty was a bit more than I could take.
Alice is searching for an open mind, and this is a theme that the author definitely beats you over the head with. And if you don't go into Wonderland with an open mind then maybe you should tread elsewhere because this one isn't for the feint of heart. Overall, I enjoyed it (mostly) and am curious to see what is in store for Alice and Lewis.

This is book 2 in 50 Shades Of Alice in Wonderland . Hilarious doesn't even begin to describe this story. The books are getting more and more sarcastic . The characters are getting more and more cracked out. I loved this story. Alice fell through the Looking Glass. She has to learn tolerance and have an open mind in this world. The things they do to her had me rolling. Humpty was a perv and so funny. The White Queen was really easy to relate to also. I found this book to be a great sequel and I'm about to start the next one.

Great book couldn't put it down. It is a twisted version of Alice through the looking glass.
Alice finds her boyfriend in the bathroom wearing her panties. At first she thinks he is gay and breaks up with him. While being sad and getting ready for a party Alice starts to play with herself while watching through her mirror. She pretends someone on the other side is watching her. Then all the sudden she falls through it, into another world. There she is met by the Red king and queen, and the white king and queen. Everyone except the red queen thought she was great in what she was doing. But the Red Queen doesn't believe in anything but the missionary position. Alice out runs the red queen before she is put into the hall of denied orgazisms.She is trying to open her mind to become a queen. She runs into 3 wild flowers (that are humans with flower names). All 4 women enjoy each other. Then she is sent into the woods to find some other people. She runs into a guy who is a satist. He ties her up and tortures her by not letting her cum. Then she is sent to see tweedle-dee and tweedle-dum. Here she learns that love comes in many forms and can be accepted. Then she is sent to humpty dumpty. He messes with her and then she is sent to an orgy where she runs into a pass crush who has a fetish with feet and shoes. Then she finds the red king again. He tells her that he saw the video of her getting her clit and nipples pierced. Then they all watch her and the king together until the Red Queen shows up and tells the knights to capture her and take her to the hall of denied orgasims. Fifty Shades Of Alice Through The Looking Glass
PLOT: In this erotic re-telling of the classic Alice Through the Looking Glass, Alice's encounters with The White Queen, The Red King, The Tweedles, the Gnat, Humpty, The Hare & The Hater & the Flower's attempt to open up her mind through different sexual experiences.
MY THOUGHTS: As I read this I was thinking did one of my male friend's (not naming any names) write this because there was a time when he tried to "open up my mind". No, NOT in the ways shown here in action but if he'd had his way. I won't say this wasn't arousing to a tiny degree but what I will say is my own mind isn't open to sex with females, sex with two unattractive, fat, bald, men, and piercings (this part made me cringe. Tho I do have family that has done this & I cringe when I think of them doing it also) Earring piercings are more than enough for me. Thank you very much! Nor did I want to do the Gnat's method of the build-up of denied sexual pleasure. There were also other means that included videotaping and oral to name a few. Although we weren't supposed to like the Red Queen because she was rigid and only wanted them to stick to the missionary position, she did say one thing that I admired and stuck out to me in this whole kinky fantasy book & that she didn't approve of how sex just ran as wild there as the flowers, that it "should" be reserved for marriage, and that she used it to pleasure her husband. (Although she really wasn't pleasuring her husband). The machine part I kind of skipped through at the end just because I wasn't as interested in how it dished out its sexual punishment. Alice in the end apologizes and is more accepting to Lewis (her boyfriend) for judging him for his female underwear fetish, which oh kaaay. Again I guess my mind isn't as open as Alice's new frame of mind.
RATING: 4 This book just wasn't my kind of erotic. And it didn't cause any sparks or ring any smoke alarms inside me. But if you have a BOLD sense of sexuality it may get you off. There's plenty of sex. It doesn't make you wait too long to get to each new encounter with a member of through the looking glass. If fantasy mixed with the imaginary of a heavily, endowed, woman taking on male & females does it for you then this is the book for you. But if it isn't you'll probably find this a little out there. Just be warned. It even has a character that can practically release off the feel of a woman's shoes.

I picked up this book after hearing it mentioned on a podcast. I thought it was a clever concept and was interested to see how the author added a "50 Shades" twist to the familiar Alice in Wonderland story.
FIFTY SHADES OF ALICE IN WONDERLAND: This particular book was my favorite of the three. I thought the author did a good job of adhering to the general structure of Alice and Wonderland and creating memorable twists on those familiar scenes. I wasn't a huge fan of the actual writing with its repetitive phrasing and hit-or-miss attempts at humor, but the story was compelling and it was an entertaining read.
FIFTY SHADES OF ALICE THROUGH THE LOOKING GLASS: The middle installment of the trilogy felt like a step down from the first volume. It was still an entertaining read, but felt like it was trying a little too hard to top the scenes and extremes of the first book, which didn't always make a lot of narrative sense (even in a fantasy world).
FIFTY SHADES OF ALICE AT THE HELLFIRE CLUB: This was my least favorite volume in the trilogy. It felt a little rushed and over the top (even for fantasy erotica), and more of a collection of scenes than a consistent narrative. The story ended on a positive note, but it was difficult to stay invested in this part of the story.
Overall, this was a fun, quick read but ultimately didn't really impress. The erotic elements were decent but the rest of the writing connecting the erotic scenes was a little lacking. It was a fun, quick read, but in retrospect, I probably would have rather stopped after paying $2.99 for the first one rather than paying an additional $4 for the two less-successful sequels.

Definitely not recommended if you're just looking for a romantic read with slight BDSM/fetish themes. This story was all over the place in regards to the many types of erotic behavior it explored. There are many things in this story I wasn't really interested in (Dweedle Dee and Dum) but for the most part there was something to enjoy in every encounter Alice had (imo).
I honestly really love the cheeky way this is written so that it somewhat mirrors Carrol's original text. I actually found myself laughing a couple of times at how DuChamp reflected his prose through her own, with VERY differing content!
I appreciated the underlying storyline which essentially is that you shouldn't judge a book by its cover, everyone has their own kink, and how can you know for sure if you've never tried? Lewis' and Alice's relationship takes a dramatic turn in this story given that, not only do they find out some interesting fetishes each other likes, but they then have to learn how to deal with those desires and be honest about them. All in all I liked all of the scenes in this story but my favorites were with the bondage master, the "flowers" and the White's Queen's sex shop. I was also very thrilled to see the hatter and the hare make another appearance and thought the Jabbercocky quite creative.
I will definitely be reading the final installment of the story.

Some may argue that this is not a romance. I would argue very differently. There is a heroine and a hero (even if we don't see a whole lot of him). The couple must overcome an obstacle in order to be together (Alice's closed-mindedness). And of course there must be a HEA - and is there ever!!
Alice's adventure begins with her favorite white rabbit again and she is instantly thrust into a new and exciting world. The book (which is quite glad to be an ebook instead of a regular book you might trip over if it happened to be lying on the floor) is filled with wonderful puns and even occasionally makes a joke at its own expense. Yes, the book knows it's a book. The style of writing is priceless and so very much fun to read. Alice must learn to be more open minded about people before she can become a Queen and return home.

I absolutely loved Wonderland, (https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...), but Looking Glass Land didn't impress me quite as much.
Instead of learning how to have amazing sex, Alice learns about the many kinks people have and how she should have an open mind and not be judgmental. (foot fetish, orgasm denial, cross dressing, swingers, etc.)
While these are lessons everyone should learn, it didn't make for as interesting of a read as Wonderland. There seemed to be fewer erotic scenes, and they weren't quite as hot. The characters were not nearly as funny as Wonderland, but there were still a few references to the writing of the book and buying on Amazon.
Overall, It was an okay read. Had I not read Wonderland first I'm sure I would have enjoyed this book much more.

If you are looking for a quick, quirky, erotic short book to read, this isn't a bad choice. There is a lot of steamy, erotic sex happening to Alice once she steps through the Looking Glass which is the main focus of what you will read. There is an overriding message of acceptance/tolerance and realizing we shouldn't judge others. There are moments when the author is banging you over the head with it and even says it in the story, that does get a bit old based on the approach but I did have fun journeying with Alice through the Looking Glass for a few hours of escapism from the daily grind. I did get this book for free during a special promotion, not sure I would have read this if I had to pay for it.

However,I didn't find Fifty Shades of Alice through the Looking glass as good as Fifty Shades of Alice in Wonderland. On the other hand Looking glass does explore a wider variety of fantasy. It still has the quirky humour and ocassional broken fourth wall of the first book (and indeed the original Lewis Carroll books!). This one just missed the mark a few times for me. IT also had a definite message that it acknowledges itself it is pushing. That sometimes distracted from the fun and the sex.
Overall, I'll still get the final installment because they're fun!

After my director told me to read "Fifty Shades of Alice" and I found it amusing, I read the second one. If the first was silly, the second dives full-on into comedy, with sex thrown in almost as an afterthought. It's a little more plotted than the last, with "sexually liberated but not too woke Alice discovering how wide and weird the sexual spectrum is," but the jokes and the gags are more important than the plot OR porn here. Running gags develop, and the world's worst poetry keeps getting worse and worse. If "Animaniacs" formed your childhood lexicon of pop culture and wit, this might be the lowbrow porno-satire for you.

Can I just say how much I love Alice's adventures? I feel like Ms DuChamp is like the fairy godmother of kink (and strangely, her writing seems familiar, hmmm)
I love the satirical take on both Wonderland and through the looking glass- they are both highly humorous tales.
But the thing I have to say I love the most are the fact that there are morals to her stories (although in looking glass you are quite bashed over the head with it, it's obviousness is acknowledged).
Overall, love the two books and can't wait for the third.
