Hello Kitty, hello seasonal fun! This colorful board book depicts our favorite star and her cast of friends enjoying all that spring has to butterflies, baseball, and more! With sparse text and irresistible original scenic art, this book is part of the newest series of Hello Kitty collectible board books.
Praise for Hello Hello Spring "While the action is minimal, the clear, simple art lends itself to toddlers’ learning to identify and name objects." ― Kirkus Reviews
My Review: Join Hello Kitty and her friends this spring as they enjoy the spring weather. Spring is a time of growth, so Hello Kitty and her friends are out catching butterflies. It is also a renewal of new life, time to play in the park and have a picnic. The welcoming of rain while they play in the puddles and a time to welcome new friends.
The pictures in the book are lively and bright which will attract a child’s attention.
FTC Disclosure: I received a review copy of these books from Abrams Appleseed in exchange for a fair and honest review. I was not monetarily compensated for my opinion in any way.
My two-year-old grabbed this at the library and we read it a few times there, but he wasn't thrilled enough with it to bring it home. I don't know much about Hello Kitty, and this story wasn't really a story, per se, just the word "Hello" on every page with a springtime noun. Hello baseball, hello flowers, etc. The book was sturdy and colorful so would be a good pick for young babies.
Each page has two to three words of "Hello (...)". This is one of the first books my preschooler can read by herself, and she liked it a lot and reread it for several days.
