Recently, artificial intelligence (AI)techniques have received increasing attention from both practitioners and researchers in the apparel industry, and have been utilized to handle a variety of decision-making processes in apparel supply chain operations. These operations have successfully applied a number of AI techniques, such as neural networks, genetic algorithms, fuzzy logic and evolutionary strategies. The ten chapters of this book provide a detailed coverage of the fundamentals and applications of various artificial intelligence techniques to assist decision makers in tackling key problems in the apparel supply chain.
