Lots of useful information for the beginning gardener. I like the way this book is set up with different sections for trees, shrubs, vines, etc. and individual pages for example plants in that category with care information and a picture. I found lots of trees and plants that I would love to try growing if I could find out where to buy them! The down side of this book is that a lot of the plants discussed are tropical and won't grow in central or northern Florida.
Short & sweet, very generalized overview of some flowers, shrubs, trees & vines. Not enough info on grasses, but it helps you know which plants work best in the area you live in Florida.
