Wish it was a bit longer, since in my opinion Eight's Legacies are some of the best Legacies among all the Garde members. Also, I wish there were more parts about his Cepan, or his relationship with Cepan. Although, for 11 quick pages, it was still an interesting read.

Never had I realized on how Number Eight would be this cool, the moment I read this.
It gave me more information about him, on who he really is and what to expect more as you read on the series, starting of course in
The Rise of Nine.

One thing that got me hooked with this one, was the moment when the cute black rabbit appeared next to him. And then he started to develop his new legacy until he met this mysterious guy, who knows him, even in a shape of a rabbit.

I definitely recommend this one to fans of of the I Am Number Four Series. Especially when you like Number 8.

For those who don't know, this story can be found here.

Honestly, there's really not much to this. I actually found Number Eight's narrative of his past in The Rise Of Nine to be much more detailed than this, but it's still something to read if you're a huge fan.

This was so short. SO SHORT! For some reason I really like Eight and Nine. They're awesome guys. And Four, of course.

So many of these stories I think actually should be in the original books because they just add so much to the characters.

waaaay better than the last book i read
at least i learned something new

p4: the rabbit and i began chasing each other through the bushes, jumping over rocks, darting behind trees. just having some good, old-fashioned rabbit-style fun.

Why would you make it so SHORT. I love Joseph or Ivan or Vinshu better known as 8 but why did Pittacus made this so so short.
Eight is the best Garde of all time, well to me anyway, it didn't say a lot about his origins and it could've been better if it covered some other legacies but it's just some pages so I think it was just something to keep us addicted.

Super short. Just a few pages, but a nice glimpse at eight. Nothing surprising is revealed if you have already read Rise of Nine.

Short... but insightful... after Nine, I believe Eight is my favorite character :D But i do wish this bonus story was longer.

I really liked this look into Number 8 before he was completely amazing with all his abilities and was just a lonely boy. I wish it was longer though.

Another quick read. As the title suggests, this story reveals the simplified origin story of Number Eight without going into too many details. It is short and to the point without an sort of embellishment. There is a curious thing that happens at the end that I think may play itself out in The Rise of Nine.

This was a very short summary of Eight's life alone in the mountain, more like this feelings about his life. We don't see much of his training after that which would have been a lot more interesting.
I guess we could have one full novel for each Garde life before they actually meet up but I guess that's not happening.

Eight seems to have interesting powers....
These "Lost Files" should really be called Cepan Deaths, because that's what most of them are about, poor guys/ladies 😅
This one was very short and I'm not sure the man that found him is trust worthy but....guess I'll find out soon. Eight seems to have been living on the wild side after losing his Cepan because of, once again, a woman smh
