Wow! I am still sitting here thinking about this book.
I really enjoyed it, it was such a lovely surprise. I was so tense at beginning thinking that sweet baby was going to be taken or killed.. It was awful! Then moments where I thought I was just not going to be able to get into book and characters. I'm glad I stuck with it.

First let's start with the Greek gods.. Why thank you. I enjoyed that. I really thought it adds something extra to book.. I'm a huge myth buff and this helped draw me in.

Helena is a great character. The middle earth angel, who gets stuck cleaning for daydreaming... Only really to be a warrior Angel, Sacred and created by Athena. Throw in a battle to save mankind - Hades and a glorious love triangle..trifecta! I live in Louisville had to throw in a little Churchill downs reference. I have to say I'm rooting for Arion. (Sorry HOTTIE Levi, you just did wear on nerves a bit)
Now in saying all of this there were parts the book was lacking. Not huge but in honest review must be said.. Over use of words. I would like to see words not used on repeat. Overall though I cannot wait to see where she goes next. I think she has a great career ahead of her. I think she will continue to grow and as she does, I am excited to see where her career goes... I am now a fan. :)

I loved the plot, loved the book from beginning to end! To me it wasn't slow. I was actually interested and ready to read more and more. Helena is a great character. She has so much devotion and power and heart! I'm sorry to say for the Arion lovers but I want LEVI to get a chance with her. He seems like he wants to change for her and like he said, he cant control it! He just seems sooooo sexy and I have a thing for boys with blonde hair, blue eyes, and nice bodies! Ah! *drools just thinking about it* I love Arion too but I love men that joke around more. haha
But I think this book was great and I highly recommend to those that are looking for something different yet still Young Adult and Fantasy. It was a great read for me!!

REVIEW: How can I put this gently? I loved this book from beginning to end. And I'm really not just trying to be nice. This book had action from beginning to the very end. I love the idea of Greek Gods, I love their myths. It compels me eminencely, I did.t want to put the the book down, it had my heart racing and my muscles tense. It had a love triangle which I always love, I have already chosen which hottie I'm routing for " ARION" duh!
I really didn't like have Levi acted, and that is saying a lot, I love me some bad hot boys. I can't wait till the second book comes out.

FIVE***** STARS . This book was Percy jackson meets Clash of the Titans..

QUOTES: " After all." He says after he plopped another grape into his mouth. "You are the one that always peeps on me. I should be the one frightened don't you think."

"Oh. Is that what this is about? A friendship? You don't want to choose between us both, so you tease and lead us on then try to say that we are only friends?"

He laughs again as he watches he walk ahead of him. "Fall in love- so that's what this is about? You're just afraid, Helena. You're hiding your feelings so you won't have to admit to either one of us. It is alright to be honest with yourself sometimes." He said as he catches up.

When I open this book, immediately I was in a battle. So, here I was sucked in before I had a chance think about it. There was no way I could stop reading after going through this journey to get baby Helena to safety.
Ever heard how curiosity killed that cat. Well hello!! Just call me Derinda the CC! Had to know why and what was so important about this baby. So in my opinion, great job to the Author, for compelling me to want to keep reading.

By the time I got her too safety....ooops I mean Aristocles got her to safety. The need to go further, already starting pumping through me. So off I went and was slammed into a different world. Using Earth, Shanora Williams provides you with a feeling that you are in a world with different Realms. Very different take on normalcy. The Angels are your typical Angel with wings, beauty. However their world is definitely different. But even though, she (Author) uses clouds as sources or devices. Shanora Williams, has a gifted talent to make you believe that this normal, and who are you to second guess.

Now, throw in mortals, the “Evil Ones”, and 2 very HOT guys. OMG I almost forgot Medusa, yes snakes and all. The Greek Gods Myth! You are now in a magical story!

I give this Author, great props for her very first book. Very nicely done Ms. Williams. I stumble on her book by accident. But have no regrets.

My personal suggestion to you, is everyone grab a copy. Read it review it. Let’s work to get Shanora Williams out there to everyone. Because I believe she has real talent, to be a wonderful Author! Who knows, you might just find that we have another Hottie on the market, ARION. With his sexy gloved hands and all!

THIS BOOK STUNNED ME!!!

It was given to me as a free copy from the author but if I had known any better, I would have bought it because it was so great! I loved this whole book. I loved the way Williams wrote the book so nicely. She gets an A+ in my books for this. This book has it all combined into one. I stayed up until three in the morning, 3 IN THE MORNING reading this book. It was just getting soo good and I couldn't put it down. My hubby kept telling me to go to bed but i refused. I wanted to get it done. So here i am, posting my review about it!

Romance, Fantasy, Paranormal, Action, EVERYTHING!!

I really loved this book and I can't wait until book two! It was such a wonderful read and I hope she pursues her career because this book needs to go very far! All eyes need to see it.

I have to say that I will be going with team LEVI! HOTTIE HOT HOTTIE! If I met him I would set him straight and show him how to love ;)

But seriously, get this book, you won't regret it.And if you do regret it... well something is just seriously wrong with you. For this to be Williams' first published book she did a great job! And congrats on the cover, Shanora! Its BEAUTIFUL!!!

***** 5 STARS FROM BECCA!!! *****

Well, where do I even start?
To be honest, this book was WONDERFUL! I loved it, a bit slow in the beginning but not too bad to make me lose interest. I love the plot, its new and different. I have very high standards for books but this was given to me for free so no complaints here!
Shanora did a great job with this. I love her writing style and the way she keeps me on edge. I love Helena and her attitude. She's truly bad ass and I love protagonists like her that take charge! I also loved her developed relationship with Rayne and her heart ache between Arion and Levi. It proves that she cares and she really loves them. (I can relate because I've been through a love triangle before) I really enjoyed this book but hated how she left us with a cliff hanger! Darn you, Shanora!!! ;) But besides some of the minor things, this book was perfect, especially for a twenty-two year old that loves YA books.

I say grab the book, read it, enjoy it, spread it around because I'm sure if I love it, others will love it too! And I just saw her cover today and I have to say that it is GORGEOUS! Shanora has done well! Can't wait for book 2!

I honestly didn't know that this author had self-published! This book was awesome from beginning to the end, so action packed and full of life and things that I wish I had known. When I started to read this, I was a little iffy about it. I don't usually read books by Indie authors but this one has set a new deal for me! Shanora Williams wrote this book and it was great, and I'm not exaggerating that fact.
I could not put this book down, yes there are a few errors but not so many that will make you made and want to toss it for being so error-ish (I mean it is self-published for Christ's sake. Cut her some slack!!) I'm not sure how she managed to get three stars on this book from anyone because I give it 5 STARS!! This book was very different from the normal YA books that I have read that have involved vampires, werewolves, etc. This book has a fresh idea, a fresh take, and I truly loved it from beginning to end. It started with so much action that I had no choice but to be drawn in and to continue to read to find out what was happening. I have to say that I love the fact that she mixed the modern dialogue and era with a bit of the ancient greek era. She wasn't alive back then to know every exact thing and i commend her for that. She did a splendid job on this book and I cannot wait until I get to read the next one!

And including the fact that we have the love triangle, that was the cherry on top of the sundae! She did very well with this, i was drawn in and I could relate so much to her characters. Some ppl say that the characters had no emotions but to me they had plenty of emotions and they were displayed perfectly. You people that didn't finish reading her book didn't give it a chance and to me that is terrible. You should not even be able to review a book if you have not finished the whole thing. Who are you to judge when you don't even know the whole story?? It only got better the more that I kept reading and right now I want even more. I even cried when poor Rayne was telling his story. This book has combination of everything between action/adventure, romance, fantasy, and I beleive that it is perfect for young adults. I really hope that the author continues with her journey of writing and I hope that she goes very far with this. I can tell that she has a creative mind and I can't wait for more. After all, It isn't every day that we get to hear or see warrior angels and the gods together. This was something breathtaking and truly wonderful.
GET THIS BOOK! YOU WON'T REGRET IT!!

From the start of this book, I knew that I was going to enjoy it. Shanora starts us immersed in a battle, giving us our first look at our heroine, Helena Zane.

I've always had a thing for fictional novels set in historical times. And I have especially enjoyed anything that has to do with ancient Greek mythology...even from the time that I was a kid. I truly loved how Shanora stuck true to descriptions that I have read of her gods and goddesses. I do have to say that what I found the most interesting was how the author still was able to give each of those gods and goddesses their own voice.

The relationships that evolve between Helena, Arion, and Levi were interesting. The only criticism that I have is that I would have loved to see more specific interaction or scenes that would have explained how Helena had become so attached to both Arion and Levi. I felt like I was wanting a bit more out of that.

As for the end of the book....I was left wanting more. I'm anxious to see where the battles between the Sacred Angels and Hades, Gaea, and the Titans goes.

I would have to say, overall, was quite satisfied with Shanora's book!!

Where to start let's see I really like the book but to me it wasn't a 5 star book. I did love the characters in the book. Also loved how she show the Gods actually caring for their creations. What I didn't like was how it bounced around on who was talking it got confusing. At times I did have to read it again just to see who was talking. Then you have Arion and Levi who are suppose to train her but they both fall for her and she falls for them both. Of course you know she has to pick one of them in the end but it look like she made up her mind on who she wanted but then switch it up to where she don't know who she wants. I don't know I just didn't like how that part played out but that could just be me. I do want to read what happens next of course cause of how it ended but I just hope the next one is not bouncing around so much on who is doing the talking.

I was given this book in return for an honest review. Helena is a normal angel of middle earth, or is she? Helena discovers that she is actually the one that the angels call The Sacred Angel, a warrior angel. She was creates to protect her people. Hades is forever trying to steal their souls and she is their defense. Things are complicated by her feelings for not 1, but 2 really hot guys named Levi & Arion. You will pick and root for one by the end of this book. The story is action packed from the very start. I loved Percy Jackson, so the Greek mythology in this story sucked me in as well. This book is an action packed, paranormal adventure that you won't want to miss. I hope the author continues to grow and writes more books, it can only get better from here.

It was a few weeks ago that I read this book. So I read so much I have trouble remembering what happens. I do remember that I fell in love with the cherecters. I can't wait for the second book to come out. It was a story of about pople with special talents and they were figiting a war. I don't really remember what for, but it was a good book and I would recommend it to anyone that likes a good story with some paranormal romcance to it. There is kind of a love triangle going on too. Ya gotta read it.

Greek Mythology is one of my favorite subjects. This book hooked me from the beginning. Helena is a beautiful women who happens to be a Sacred Angel. Then you have Levi and Arios.. HOTNESS!! TRIANGLE!! Together they are the 3 sacred angels from the prophecy. They are the ones who are supposed to save the world from Hades. Shanora Williams has done a wonderful job. I can't wait to see where Helena ends up and who she will give her heart too!

I won't sit here and write out a long review but I will start out by saying that this book was very original. I loved how different it was and the characters were fun to read about. The gods and goddesses were so realistic to me and they cared for their creations. I can't wait to read book two!
I highly recommend reading.

I was torn between 4 stars and 5 stars for this book but I decided to give it 5 stars! I was asked by the author to write a review for this book and I have to say that this book was worth the read but at times it did get a bit confusing! Sometimes it was hard to figure out who was actually speaking and I would actually have to re-read a page but that was the only problem I had with this book! I liked the different point of views as it told you what was going to happen next which made me want to read on! The plot of this book was interesting and I actually enjoyed it! There were also a lot of action scenes in this book and they were very well written and they were full of suspense! The characters in this book were very well written and I really enjoyed them as well! I really liked the main character, Helena Zane but I think that she was portrayed as a teenager when she was an adult. I really liked Helena's love interests, Arion Helios and Levi and I thought that the love triangle was well written and I did enjoy it! There were also a lot of secondary characters and they were also very well written! The ending was really good and I will definitely read the next book in this series! The cover for this book is absolutely stunning and I hope the next book's cover can live up to this one!

Being a huge fan of all things Greek related and angels, this seemed like a sure bet. Unfortunately, the delivery fell short for me.

Likes/Loves:
Setting- I loved the imagery of middle earth and lower earth.
Back story- I really liked Helena's history. Her birth right parents made the ultimate sacrafice on order for her to live.
Originality- It was unlike anything I have read before, which is nice this day-in-age.

Dislikes:
Really its just one big one that really made it difficult to read. The way it jumps from character to character, with a whole lot of "She said..." and "He said...". It completely messed with the flow of the story.**Also on a side note I thought Helena was about fifteen yrs old for the first half of the book, because of the way she acted and the High School type setting. That could be clarified, she is an adult.

I will end by saying, I really did like the story, it was the execution that ruined it for me. Perhaps "ruined" is a harsh word. It could just be that my reading style and her writing style didn't mesh on this one. I would be more than willing to give her another shot down the road.

It took me a while to get this book finished but I LOVED IT.
I have to say, for such a young author this book was astounding. There was so much action and adventure that I loved in it.
I won't say that it is a 5 start book but I give it about 4.3 stars. I loved Helena and Arion's relationship.
Things weren't predictable for me and that was a plus because most books are. I didn't know that three-headed wolves would pop out and start fighting the SA's.

I LOVEEEE LEVI and his cocky attitude that Helena would burst. It was truly funny to read about him but to also know that he has a side that he tries to hide. It proves that not everyone is perfect.

So overall, the book was exquisite. And i hear that the author already has a book coming out in a couple of weeks. She's working super fast! I can't wait to read it! I know it's going to be good. In my eyes, the words of an author can only get better and this book was great so I know the next one will be terrific.

The Characters and story will have you not wanting to take your eyes off your kindle even for just a second.
Helena is lovable and sweet, and with training for the battle vs. Hades she still finds her self in love with 2 VERY different boys.. Arion and Levi..
I want her to be with Arion, since he is sweet and will do anything for her. He is strong and passionate.
but i also find myself silently rooting for the underdog Levi.. even if he is a horn dog that cant keep it in his pants...
I also LOVE little Rayne (which i swear i am naming my next child) he is such a sweet kid and has had a horrible past that makes you just want to hug him and protect him from all the bad things.

I am NOT so patiently waiting for the next book in this series.. I cant wait to see how the battle goes, and who Helena chooses (If she even does)
