Often-overlooked concepts will never be the same. Apollo is not just any old dog - he's a Super Dog! He can divide himself into halves, he can be on the right and the left, above and below, by himself, or in a crowd.

My husband and I read this with our five year old son who is in pre-k. He liked it. It had plenty of things to talk about and the vocabulary in the book gave us something to talk about with him. He seemed to learn some new meanings as the book had some challenge to it. It was cute and in a non- rhyme way. We aren't crazy about the silly rhyme books. He seemed to enjoy it and learned some new definitions as well so that's a plus.
