I love this series. I love the characters, the writing, the humor, and most importantly...the heroes! I would highly recommend it, but unfortunately, book three did not live up to it's predecessors.

Fall For Me tackles the difficult topic of eating disorders, and does so in the midst of a pregnancy. Beth has struggled with her weight since she was a child and has recently undergone a big transformation. Although she has lost a lot of weight, insecurity still plagues her. She does not believe that a rich, attractive, ladies man like Nick could ever love her.

When Beth finds out that she is unexpectedly pregnant, her fears of weight gain and rejection surface once again. I found myself so frustrated with Beth. Her lying and manipulation (that is so common with eating disorders) was very hard to take knowing that she was pregnant. I spent most of the book hoping that the next chapter would bring her to therapy or to an inpatient eating disorder clinic. I guess I want more than that for my heroines.

Nick is the perfect guy. Kind, considerate, and concerned for Beth's welfare. He goes to many lengths to prove his love and commitment, but unfortunately Beth is unable to accept them. Rejecting all his attempts, she almost destroys the relationship and more importantly..herself.

My issues with Beth severely impacted my overall feeling for this book. Nick was incredible and it was so nice to catch up with the couples from the previous books. Declan Stone (I love that name!) is given some page time in this book and I have my fingers crossed that he and Ella will get the next book. It has the potential to be the best of the series!

I am truly disappointed in this book. I had such high hopes that it would be as good as the first two and for some reason it fell short for me. I am a huge fan of Sydney Landon so I am not sure why I didn't feel the love for this book. I do know Beth got on my nerves a bit but I just felt like something was missing. I will say Nick was awesome and Suzy made me laugh. I think if it weren't for Suzy and Nick I would have rated this book much lower. I am sad to be giving this review because I do love the author. I won't let my feelings for this book keep me from reading more from this author. I actually can't wait for the next book. I am huge fan just not of this book.

I think this might have been my favorite of the series! Beth Denton (sister to Suzy) and Nick Meriman (brother to Gray) have been keeping a secret. They have been having a good time and no one knew. But now Beth is pregnant and their world is about to change drastically. She believes that Nick is a bad boy and will never hold true to his promise to be there for her and the baby. He believes that Beth is the one woman who can resist his charm because she refuses to be more than just a fling for him.
When friends and family intervene and wreak havoc, the two learn more about their true feelings for each other and Beth struggles with a deep fear and issue with eating.
This book provided some serious laughs, but also some serious sadness. The auther wrote in a way that makes me believe there will be more Danver's novels and I am glad. They are easy, quick and a great escape from some of the more serious novels on the market. There were parts that brought tears, but only the ones that can be wiped away. Not the kind that require a whole box of tissues before you turn the next page!

Fall For Me (A Danver's Novel) by Sydney Landon

Nick & Beth

LEARNING TO LOVE YOURSELF!

Ok, first and foremost, I won this book, but I want you to know I would have paid upwards of $10 for it.... it's that good. This entire series has held a sacred part of my heart since I started it long ago! The series is one of those that will stick with you for years to come! You'll remember it for years to come and refer back to it fondly!

It does deal with some dark disturbing subjects, but nothing that can't be fixed with time, love, and a little counseling! Even though there are some dark subjects it's also very light hearted and with the exceptions of a few swears it might have passed in some of your prudish people's book!!! You know who your are... a couple EFF words, a few SEE words and a dash of the ESS words and you all cringe and give a bad review just because of that!!

I loved all the banter between Suzi and just about everybody she came in contact with... she's such a whip!! Glad to see so much of her in this book. I would give anything to have a big sister like that! It was great to see the rest of the gang show up and join in too.. I've really missed Claire, Jason, Gray, and Suzi and they were just as much a part of this book and they were their own books! Nick was... well... Nick... I know he was trying, but going about it the incorrect way just about every time he tried! Poor Beth, she had so much to deal with on her plate, but would she ask for help... NO WAY!! That babysitting scene... cracked me right the heck up.... "You can't throw poop on the beach!" Glad to see it all worked out! Now those Denton parents... wholly moly... I just wanted to send them packing... I mean really... who treats their own kids like that!! Jerks!!!

The writing style was smooth and simply flowed... It took me a couple of days to get through only cause I had to take care of those people who I live with.. ya know... hubby, daughter, son... teeheehee!! It was 305 (kindle version) pages long and for me it was just right! I'm genuinely hoping there's a fourth book involving Ella and Declan... now that would be my favorite in the series if it's ever made... and innocent and a troubled recluse - wowza that ones gonna rock! Thank God I'm married, or I'd be "Barbecuing alone!" LOL!!

5 STARS!

After loving the second book in this series, I was really excited to read this one. Although I loved Nick (he made the book worth reading) - Beth was hard to take.

Beth used to be an obese woman who was constantly criticized by her parents. She became determined and lost the weight, but her self esteem was never at a level it needed to be and she constantly questioned why Nick, a gorgeous, rich man would be attracted to her.

I get it. Really. But after awhile, her constant issues with her weight and image grated on my nerves. This guy clearly has the hots for you - GET A CLUE. Or seek help. Which she does eventually. But not before pissing me off.

They both fight their true feelings about each other the whole book just to realize they've been in love but too chicken shit to admit it. I expected some sort of huge revelation and it was just lack-luster. No fireworks went off. And the WTF ending still leaves me puzzled.

It just didn't live up to my expectations, although it was a quick and entertaining enough read. And Suzy was hilarious - I loved that she had parts in this book. I'm still anxious to read the 4th book in hopes it's about Ella.

4.25 stars. . In the beginning, this book really took me for the unexpected, but in a good way. Usually I can tell where a book is going but the author surprises you after reading the first couple of paragraphs. I was happily surprised that we had gotten to see how Beth and Nick’s relationship got started…instead of just skipping ahead to their relationship in the present. In the present, their relationship is very hot. I really feel like this book is the steamiest of the three. I felt their connection more than the other couples. I just loved Nick and Beth so much in Not Planning on You, that my love for them just grew more and more as I read Fall for Me.

I loved the characters. I loved Nick because he was just so sweet and so thoughtful. He cared so much about Beth he didn’t even realize how much. I also liked Beth but sometimes she had gotten on my nerves. I know she was very insecure over her weight but I hate what she was doing to her body. I’m glad she wised up in the end though.

The ending was absolutely adorable…I love Nick’s mom. Oh how baking can sooth the soul lol. Poor Herman hehe. I’m also happy how the author gives you a background for the next book. I can’t wait to read about shy Ella and the brooding Declan. It already feels like you know them because she does include them quite a bit. I really love this series and can’t wait for Ella and Declan.

I really enjoyed Fall For Me. Nick was a pretty awesome guy. He was so sweet and patient with Beth even when most people myself included wanted to smack some sense into her. I loved that the characters from the first two books were back and hand a lot of involvement throughout the book. I REALLY hope Ella and Declan are the next book!

sliiightly better than the first, but I truly don't understand why the high ratings. hero is too perfect, heroine is the definition of a irresponsible moron. zero sympathy from me. on the plus side, they have an unconventional start but all is wrapped around nicely with pregnancy. meh. boring and predictable.

Im Starting to really love this series, and Fall For Me is without a doubt my favorite.

I loved the relationship between Beth and Nick that started as pure distaste from Beth 's side at least. I knew from their attraction that was evident in Not Planning on You that there was definitely more to the apparent hate over playboy Nick Herimon. When Metricom merged with Danvers international, both Gray and his brother Nick moved to Myrtle Beach to help with the company day to day runnings.

When Beth began as a fill in assistant to her sister, Suzy it was only supposed to be a part time thing. As a teacher that was laid off she had been searching for a new job without any sucess. So when Suzy became partner to Gray Merimon, Beth was thrown into her world... Aceorkd that also included Nick Merimon.

Beth has struggled right through her life, as the token fat girl she knows men will ever show interest in her. Now a slim, gorgeous lady with a certain man candy chasing her, she struggles with her past. So with their "relationship " background out there, brings tge beginning of Fall For Me.

1st words :
YOU'RE WHAT?
I'M PREGNANT!

I knew this would be entertaining, at least, what I didn't account for was the underlying issues brought to light in this story. As a troubled individual Beth has been through the wringer with both her own insecurities, and if course her horrible parents. She uses Suzy and her light outlook on life to keep her grounded. But with an unplanned pregnancy, with a gorgeous playboy no less, she is struck all over again. Nick will never hang around with her after she is fat, and with a child.

What she didn't expect though, was Nick's neanderthal response. Marriage and new home now.... He never imagined he would be tied down with a baby. He apparently doesn't love Beth, but knows that is what is expected of him. Over the months that follow, Beth puts Nick through hell, while puting herself and her unborn babies at risk. Unsure what to do, Nick struggles with his feelings towards Beth, and his knowing what he has to do.

Together they pass through some hilarious times, happy highs and a huge lows that will threaten everything they have. Together they must come together to survive this pregnancy with hormones that woll kill Nick for sure.

My only disappointment was the ending, it just finished - and I know tgere is another book being Declan and Ella's story so I'm hoping there is a happy ending for Beth and Nick.

Beth always had a problem with her self-esteem. It was mostly to blame on the way her parents raised her. Then when she lost her teaching job she went to work with her sister as her secretary. She then met the one man who would change her life. She just did not know how much he would change it.
Nick has worked in the same company with his brother for years. He always liked Beth but since his brother was marrying her sister, he thought he should stay away. But she completely turned his world upside down. He never thought that it would be the best thing that ever happened to him.
Beth and Nick were having a wonderful relationship together. Then a surprise to them both happened. Beth thought that nick would walk away and nick wanted to be a part of her life no matter what. But due to her self-esteem issues she thought that if her body changed he would leave her for good. She never thought that he would stick around. He completely surprised her and stuck by her through anything she thought of.
A small tragedy came upon Beth and Nick and Beth completely blamed herself. She closed herself off from everyone until her sister reminded her that there was more to life then closing yourself off from everyone. Beth finally realized that she needed Nick as much as he needed her if not more. They finally admitted that they loved each other.
I completely fell in love with this book from the very beginning. Since it is a contemporary romance it brought to light different aspects of what an actual relationship is. It had the dysfunctional family and the ups and downs in a relationship. It is nice to read about actual events that can happen in any relationship in a book. And of course the best part of the book is that they both lived happily ever after.
I definitely am going to get the other book in this series. I am curious about what other relationship issues the author wrote about. This book is definitely a good read.

Having so enjoyed the first two books in this fabulous Danver series, it was with high hopes that I started talented author, Sydney Landon's, Fall For Me. Once again, I thoroughly enjoyed the story, her uncanny humor, and sensitive handling of difficult subjects.

Surprisingly, the handsome sex-god Hero, Nick Merimon, didn't want to fall in love and leave his bachelor ways behind him. This only surprised me because he came from such wonderful, loving parents, and had recently watched his brother's love induced transformation from alone workaholic to content family man. However, he did thankfully realise, that he had something special in his relationship with delightful, yet guarded Beth Denton.

In the first chapter, Beth shared with her sassy sister Suzy, that she was pregnant and that Nick was the father. However, we also learnt, that due to Beth's incredibly deep self loathing, she didn't believe she could be loved by swoon worthy Nick. She tried desperately to maintain a detached heart, and simply enjoy Nick for as long as he would be around. (and I must add here - enjoy him she surely did!!!! Phew!)

Fall for Me touched on many deep issues. Self esteem, loss and even the responsibility of parents to think before they speak. All was provided within a funny, sexy and believable story, with the requisite HEA that we romance readers require. I thoroughly enjoy Sydney Landon's writing style, and cannot wait for more. Suzy often provided well-timed and laugh-out-loud comedic relief with her quirky wit, and of course, Nick has joined my impressively long list of book boyfriends. I mean, why wouldn't he? He can bake Red Velvet chocolate cakes!

If you haven't read the first book, Weekends Required - get it!!! Having just finished Fall For Me, I cannot resist going back to the start again. Loved the characters. Loved the stories. Enjoy!

I'm only 40 pages in, and I've already deduced that Beth is an idiot.

Sure I can understand her insecurity after losing so much weight, but damn, she takes self loathing o a whole other level. The fact that she had already decided that she was going to take care of the baby herself and Nick would just be involved whenever he liked was so stupid. Like she never took his feelings or his thoughts into consideration, she just decided what kind of father he was going to be and that was it.

Ughhhhhhh okay so now I'm finished with the book, and honestly, it was terrible! And I'm usually easy to please when it comes to books!! This bitch, pregnant with twins, STARVES herself, because she doesn't want to gain weight. I understand that she used to be fat and has severe self esteem issues, what with her parents and all, but GOD DAMN. Beth was a TERRIBLE character. She literally only thought about herself.

Okay and about Ella. Let me just say, that both Suzy and Beth are the most judgemental characters I've come across. This entire group of females are TERRIBLE. There's alot of "stay in your lane" cause he's "out of your league" going on around these books. None of these women are supportive and basically tell you to aim low cause two people are different. Suzy judged Ella based on looks alone. Beth thought that Ella wouldn't make a good match together, because she was too different or whatever. UGH I hate this series already, but I'm determined to see it through on the possibility that there'll be a character I like.

Sydney Landon has delivered another book with loveable characters that is full of emotional, humorous and very hot steamy moments.

Focussing on Suzy's sister Beth, Gray's brother Nick and their unexpected and unplanned surprise, both characters surprised me; there was a bit of a reversal in personality going on which kept the book and the series fresh. Beth frustrated me, yet I felt for her and Nick, well he literally had me swooning at his actions. The lives of all the characters from the previous books continue to evolve and they bring many of the lighthearted humorous moments with them.

It made me laugh, it tugged on the heartstrings and it was heartwarming. Definitely worth reading and I'm hoping that Declan and Ella will be the next pairing; it certainly seemed to be setting the scene nicely for a potential romance and I have an inkling that there lies a story with some surprises and a complicated man....

I have been eagerly awaiting this book for months. Suzy's book is one of my favorite books ever so I couldn't wait for Beth and Nicks story. I will start with why I only gave it 4 stars I guess I really expected to feel more of a connection between Beth and Nick. *********************SPOILER **********************. I was mostly disappointed because it was like the las chapter before Nick told her he loved her and what was more upsetting is throughout the book they both stated that they didn't love the other (in their thought, not out loud). I was happy with the ending of the book because I love a HEA. I do look forward to the next book I am hoping it will be Ella and Declan. I guess I just like a hero that know he cannot live without the heroine and knows it, that was just not there in this book. I would recommend this book because it was good just not great like Suzy's book.

I pre-ordered this book and it ended up loading on my Kindle immediately, Amazon has posted a release date of Feb. 26. So I made sure I immediately read the book in case in disappeared from my Kindle...lol!

I loved the other two books in this series and I was thrilled that this one was just as good!
Suzy continues to be the comic relief and I love how we still get to keep tabs on Jason, Claire, Gray and Suzy's relationships. What's great about this story is Nick and Beth are not only dealing with some unexpected news that changes the dynamics of their relationship, but they also touch on Beth's insecurities and the seriousness of an eating disorder. I'm hoping that the next book is about Ella and Declan because you have totally peaked my interest on how their relationship will develop! I'm such a sucker for love stories and this one definitely sucked me in!

Beth's insecurity issues annoyed me to no end. Starving herself while pregnant? What kind of person does that? Yes she may have been far at some point but gaining a few pounds while pregnant will not kill anyone. It also pissed me off how she kept pushing nick away because she thought he would leave. If the man was constantly with her for the past six months, why would he suddenly go away? He hadn't even paid attention to anyone else and yet she was constantly questioning his motives and his ability to be faithful to her when she was the one going on dates with other people. There were so many things wrong with this book that I can't even go into them all. I honestly hated Beth. No one should do that to themselves, to their partner and especially to their unborn children

I really enjoyed the first two books of the series but with this book I was really disappointed from start to finish. I do not like to diss books so therefore this is new for me and well I know that all authors put in a lot of effort when it comes to writing.

Beth annoyed me to know end and they all did Nick complete injustice. He is a good guy and there are only so many former fat comments that I could take. The others made the book bearable. I will read the next in the series as I am interested in Ella and Declan.

not for me

Beth I get had issues - but she was a massive asshole.
Nick has been sweet, devoted, affectionate ... and because of her past, Beth convinces herself (with no real reason) that they can never be. So, however, instead of separating - she's an asshole. She dates other people, is cold, treats Nick like a booty call, and is in her head - but not thoughtful.

And that's just the start.

No.

Beth goes through some of her struggles in this one, and I was glad to see how attentive Nick was.

He was as perfect as he could be. He definitely won me over in this.
