Orm og Tyr

Rate this book

Great read if you are interested in the pre-history of religion in Denmark/Scandinavia, and the beginning of christianity. I read it mainly because I think Martin A. Hansen has a fantastic language (if you read it in a different languate, I would think the quality of the translation is very important). It's by no means a scientific monograph, but has some interesting reflections on what the beliefs of prehistoric Scandinavia might have been, and what they would have meant for the culture.
