I have a Mnister friend who recently asked me about leading funeral services. Despite going to College and gaining a degree he ahd not been taught how to lead funeral services. It amazes me how so many disciples neglect some of the most important aspects of their work. In business, leading meetings is a good example. If you had never been taught on this subject, owning this book would go some way to make up for nay kind of inadequacy. The author covers the key areas from effective amangement, preparing, attedning and chairing a meeting. In my role as a Chair of a Committee on the local Council i can see how undestanding motion, adjournments and resolutions are so important. Because if you do not understand them you will not be able to manage meetings well. It seems to me, the key element is preparing and this involves both the agenda and the people attending. No easy task. A good reference book.
