Started out with a bang

Bryant had gone to Parker the PI because money was missing from his gym every month. It was nice seeing Parker as a strong women she kicked some butt, it was great. The family loved her.

The book for review is “Bryant” by Charity Parkerson. It falls in the genre of sports romance. It is the first of a series.

Bryant and Walt are two brothers who run a gym for MMA fighters. They do well as they train the men for the ring. It is a close-knit group of men who look out for each other. They even have a cash box where fighters donate part of their wins for members to dip into this fund in time of need. No questions are asked. Well until the brothers discover someone is taking all the money out and doing it more than once

Asking for help from the PI next door Parker ,who is friends with Walt, the story embarks on catching the crook responsible. Parker has history of her own which includes saving Walt during the war. The two are tight. How tight is what Bryant wants to know as he immediately wants Parker for himself.

The pace of this book is so amazing. It is a quick read but a great one at that. You can’t go wrong for the price for as you read this short book you are taken away and go for the ride with the characters inside.

This book was given for free in exchange for an honest review.

This is book one in the undefeated series. Bryant is the oldest of the smith brothers, he runs the fight club. They are having a problem with someone stealing money from the club. Walt, Bryant's brother suggested they get the private investigator next door to them to help. Parker was in the service with Walt, so Bryant decided he could trust Parker because Walt did. When Bryant meets Parker it's love at first sight, at least for him. Download this awesome series to read all about the Gorgeous smith brothers. Each one is a great read. I expect nothing else from Charity Parkersons books. I've read many and am NEVER disappointed, never. You can find all of Charities books on Amazon.com, Punk&Sissy Publications, B&N. thank you for sharing your awesome books with us. Charity is a award winning Author.

Bryant is the oldest of the Smith brothers and runs Smith Brothers Fight Club. As such, it’s a huge problem for him, when he becomes suspicious about missing business funds. His brother, Walt, suggests he talk to Parker, a private investigator he’s friendly with from his time in military service. Bryant expects to meet someone in sensible shoes and a stiff suit, but finds a strong, smart woman, who knocks his socks off. Parker is equally impressed with Bryant and together they begin working together in an unusual way to find out what’s happening to the money. Along the way, they find each other and plenty more. BRYANT is sixty-six pages long, packs delicious heat, humorous bite, and an enjoyable plot that will have readers cheering for these engaging characters.

This was a great novella.I love MMA and ex-military characters, so this was pretty much my ideal book! I would have liked to see a bit more fighting, but given the story was so short it was a good balance overall.

There were a couple of issues with punctuation, but otherwise this seemed to be edited better than many others from this author. I really enjoy the way Parkerson writes and I'm going now to get the next book in this series :)

I just reread this book and and loved it as much as the first time in 2013.

Bryant is one of the owners in the Smith brothers fightclub and he suspects that someone is stealing from the club, so he hires a private detective to find the suspect. The detective is a beautiful woman and passion builds during the investigation that leads to a surprising suspect. Don't miss this awesome story.

This book was straight to the point. Loved it and I can't wait to read the others. This had some serious subject matter that the author attacked with respect. I admire that and am glad I got to read it.

The characters were not to in depth but I liked the emotional vulnerability that we saw.

I have read a LOT of books by Charity Parkerson and I usually like, if not love them. That was not the case this time though. I felt that this book was very rushed. We didn't get much detail in the story and we didn't really get time to connect with the characters. It read more like a summary than an actual story. I would have loved it if it had been more fleshed out. There were also quite a few editing issues but I'm not really bothered by those as much.

For a shortish story, I enjoyed it. It was a story with a little bit of other things besides the men who fight in MMA. And, of course, there was an hea for Parker and Bryant!

It was good and I enjoyed it.

Ok, nothing special

Bryant needs help in determining who is stealing money from his gym. His brother suggests a PI that served in Afghanistan with him. And from the moment he meets Parker he is smitten.

I suppose with the length of the story, it could be too detailed. But I would have liked more on the mystery. I also didn't like the fact that Parker didn't really tell Bryant about her past, he just heard it from other people. I did like the fact that Parker didn't fight her feelings just because she had been hurt in the past.

Overall the book was ok, and I will probably be reading the rest of the series.

I really liked the story and would have rated it a four, but there were a lot of wording mistakes I couldn't overlook.

I can't say I really loved this book. It was super short, and while yes there was a plot, it was weak. Definitely not what I was expecting!
