Lucy and Ace

This book had many many errors. This book was just blah. Parker's book was so much better. This really had nothing.

Charity Parkerson has a way of writing quirky, interesting characters that make you want to turn the page, and this is definitely the case with Ace (Undefeated Series). Ace is a professional MMA fighter, absolutely focused on achieving success and moving out from his famous father’s shadow. He’s a man of few words, intimidating with a green Mohawk, piercings and numerous tattoos. Lucy is a woman who chatters nonstop. She’s blunt, not easily deterred, but she’s charming in a sort of innocent way. Lucy is the girl everyone knows, but who really isn't close to.

When these two come together, it’s a real case of opposites attract – appearance, personality, economic status, but will Ace allow himself to fall in love when he needs to devote 100% of his time and attention to his career?

I read Ace in two evenings. It was a perfect book to curl up with after a hectic day. I really felt for Lucy, and although some might want to bob Ace over the head for his “all about my career” obsession, I totally understood. Grab a glass of Merlot, and put this one on your Kindle!

Ace doesn't want to follow in his fathers foot steps. All green hair and tattooed, he wants to fight in the MMA circuit. Ace believes he needs to keep his head in the fighting arena and that's it. There was no problem with that till Lucy gets under his skin. Nobody attempts to talk to ace because of his looks. Lucy doesn't care, she's lonely and likes his looks. A well written book I couldn't put down. Charities books usually do that to me. Down load this and see how Ace and Lucy make out. Ace from the Undefeated Series surprised me. It is the second book, but the first I've read. I thought it would be heavy on sports and technical aspects I would not understand, but I was very wrong, and glad to be. Ace is a journey of identity formation and love for all the characters involved. Author Charity Parkerson has touched my heart again and I can't wait to read more in her series.

I just reread this book and I loved it as much as the first time I read it in 2013.

Love is a tricky thing and Ace, the pierced, tattooed and green mohawk wearing MMA fighter doesn't want it disturbing his career, but the lovely Lucy messes up all his well laid plans and changes his life forever.

Another bad boy fighter falls to a good woman! Ace is predominately a man who doesn’t think he could settle down. Lucy changes his way of thinking! I like this series a lot but wish the books were longer!
