[Siren Classic ManLove: Erotic Alternative Sci-Fi Romance, M/M, sex toys, HEA]
What happens when a telepath falls in love with a sexy-as-sin superhero? Sparks fly.
Russ O'Neill has been hiding a deep fear behind his playboy persona. He longs to fall in love but never seems to find the right person. He’s starting to think that he’s incapable of falling in love. The only person he seems to care about is his best friend, Travis Pickett.
Travis is a telepath who can’t stand the noise of other people’s thoughts in his head. The only person he can’t read, Russ, is the one man he falls in love with. But Russ is known around the Superhero, Inc. compound as the Super Slut.
When Russ loses his speed, he is devastated, and the only person he draws any comfort from is Travis. But will his personal tragedy send him running into his best friend’s arms, or will it send him running away?
When a title is about superheroes, one expects some superhero action. But apart from a small incident or two, none of the many powers was really relevant or part of the plot. Disappointed

Russ is a superhero with superspeed, and a playboy reputation that proceeds him. Behind that persona is the fear that he will never find the one person to fall in love with, and be loved in return. Travis is a telepath who wants nothing more than to silence the voices inside his head. The one person he can't read, the person he's head over heels in love with, is his best friend and fellow superhero, Russ.
A simple stake out mission gone awry lands Russ in the hospital and Travis rushing to his side. Hospital gowns, clothes and sparks fly when these two sexy ass superhero's tear up a hospital bed!(this is where the warning, adults only, sexual content part comes in ;-))As the dust settles and Russ struggles with his newly discovered feelings for his best friend, he's thrown for a loop when he learns the ill fated stake out left him without his superspeed. How can Travis still want him, love him if he can't even love himself?
This book was a little disjointed in several places and at times it seemed there was more story than there were pages, but the quirky camaraderie between the different characters had me eager to explore. I liked the underlying message in the story as well, can't say what that is since I don't do spoilers, but I hope you'll read and find out for yourselves.
I give this one 3/5, I love Tyler's books and I will definitely be reading more!
