Talk about drama and suspense. Twists, turns and a super witch?
Talk about drama and mystery. Someone is trying to sabotage the high council and kill its leader. Two of the accused disappear and their is a fight to see who will lead the wolf pack . There is deception, masquerades and people appearing to do one thing while really doing another. There is a prophesy about a super witch. As well as a surprise ending leaving you wanting the next book as suspense drives you forward. love this series.
This was fantastic! I was a Gage fan through and through, but he let me down. Back on Evan's side. I thought this was the last book, not! I will be on pins and needles until Dec 2014. I am hoping there is more action in the next one. Bring back some old characters. Good storyline, great book! Is Stella the super witch, I hope so.
I had forgotten some of the previous characters in the preceding books, but after a couple of pages was immersed in the story again. I truly enjoy Ms. Chafer's books. Looking forward to book six in the series!
Stella! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Argh! I've been reading this series all week and the last book of the series so far that came out this year had a MAJOR cliffy! I can't stand it. Don't know when the next book will be out. I'm... I'm dying here. Camilla Chafer can't wait for the next book!
I read this series knowing that it wasn't literature, that it wasn't particularly well written. But it is still really enjoyable! I love a wee urban fantasy. Sometimes you need an easy read as a break, and Camilla Chafer is perfect for that.
Get a backbone, Stella! Make a decision! Say no, sometimes! Sheesh.
Don't get me wrong, I read it and enjoyed it overall as entertainment. It just feels like Stella needs to make some decisions of her own instead of being pushed around by events. We'll see what happens after the cliffhanger
A little romance and A lot of suspense and adventure makes a great read. Add a some magic to that and you really have a great book, The ending of this book make you not want to wait to start book 6 and believe me I'm not. Love it!
Stella is finally stepping up. The two stars are for the awkward pacing of the plot and the abrupt changes. Again secrets leave so much out that the reveals are weird and disjointed.
