I have to admit this was my first anthology, but I'd heard about this particular one through word of mouth--the best advertising, don't you think? So I downloaded it and uploaded a delightful mix of authors' voices. Each romance was strong, engaging and heart-warming.

SAIL AWAY reminded me of my own disasterous cruise some years ago, so I could easily identify with the heroine's plight. I didn't meet my prince charming the way she did though. Thank goodness the hero knew what--or who--he wanted for the heroine was simply not in the mood. I do love a man who goes after the desires of his heart, don't you? The author has a subtle way of pulling you into the psyche of the heroine. Before long I was cheering for her, practically pushing her toward her happy ending.

HONOLULU CITY LIGHTS. Wow, what can I say? This author has a fresh, sparkling voice that I love. Her heroine was both quirky and endearing. She's recently lost a lot of weight, but still thinks with the mind and heart of a heavier woman. She's used to being ignored. Handling all this new-found male attention is often overwhelming. Enter a surfer with an attitude and a wicked smile and magic happens. I sighed at the end of this story. Simply sighed, ladies.

UNFINISHED BUSINESS was a best friend to lover story. The heroine has known the hero since forever. Their families had neighboring lakeside cabins, so there was a long history there that added many layers to their relationship growing--or flaming--into romance. This was also a story of the later stages of grief the heroine and her family are experiencing after the loss of the father. Through this healing process, the author weaves a subtle thread of hope into this bittersweet story. A golden thread that shines as the family moves forward. If you enjoy complex stories written in sterling prose, you won't want to miss this one.

Three different writing styles. Three strong author voices. Three delightful romances. This won't be my last purchase from Still Moments Publishing. They know how to bring anthologies to life.

This is the kind of book that reminds me of how much I love reading romance. An uncluttered "in-between read" that's sassy and fun.
