Siempre se dice (muy acertadamente) que los libros de Matemáticas nunca quedan obsoletos. Este es un buen ejemplo de ello. Seguramente encontrar este libro sea un gran desafío y merezca más la pena buscar un sustituto más reciente. "Estadística y Probabilidad" es un cuaderno de teoría y actividades muy interesante para poner en práctica todos los conocimientos esenciales de ambas ramas de conocimiento. En este caso, las actividades se pueden realizar a mano (de hecho, no se indican pautas para resolverlas con ningún programa informático estadístico).
¿Por qué cuatro estrellas? Principalmente porque es un libro útil para estudiantes de secundaria con el objetivo de complementar lo que aprenden en las unidades de probabilidad y estadística o para aquellas personas que deseen profundizar en los métodos de resolución de problemas "manuales" (esto es, que no usen programas estadísticos en el ordenador).
Great book! This can be used as a study guide or even as a textbook, I guess. There are many worked examples and questions to solve. Everything has been explained concisely. Using this book to study probability and statistics is much better than going through those thick, long and boring textbooks.
