Conceptual Integrated Science covers physics, chemistry, earth science, astronomy, and biology at a level appropriate for non-science students. The conceptual approach relates science to everyday life, is personal and direct, deemphasizes jargon, and emphasizes central ideas. The conceptual ideas serve as the foundation supporting and integrating all the sciences.

This book only interests readers that love science or would like to learn more about science. Since 9th grade, I have a big interest towards science. For summer reading, I chose to read this book because I want to learn more about biology and earth science. This text has many different chapters, and each chapter is about different scientific topics. Biology, chemistry and physics is included in different chapters to enrich the content of the book. This book would be highly recommended for science lovers and researchers. The text fits for readers middle school to university, because of its’ descriptive content. I like how the book has text but also has diagrams along with the text so I can have a clearer understand of the text. The diagrams usually have labels describing the information that is presented. This books fits middle schoolers because when there is high vocabulary shown, the middle schoolers can check the glossary for the definition. I’m usually not a non-fiction reader, but since I have an interest in science, I would read this book.
