Saving the injured bear who turns out to be her mate starts a great story of love and more love. The brother of the were - bear also wants Shaylee as his mate. Will they be sharing or will Shaylee be forced to choose? Shaylee has a past that could kill her and those she loves. Will they survive all the twist and turns this relationship brings to the 3 of them?
What a fairytale this was and so wonderful. You fall in love with all 3 characters and want them to be happy.
The twist and turns was master story telling! The love of these 3 just jumps out of the book and enthralls you!! I look forward to reading more of this Author!

This is book 4 in the Wiccan-Were-Bear series. This is the story of Shaylee, a Fae Princess, and her two mates, Lynkx and Tavian, both Were-Bears. She is banished from the fairy realm by her evil uncle after the murders of her mother and aunt. When she saves the life of a were-bear caught in a trap, she couldn't begin to know the love and protection about to come to her life. She must choose the Fairy Realm or the love of two bear warriors in the mundane realm. What would you sacrifice for Rey love and a mate bond for eternity?

A very enjoyable read with likeable characters.
We have met Lynk and Tavian before. They are brothers of Ash and Axe from book one.
Liked how they had to compromise over Shaylee.
Really liked Shaylee and how she gave up everything for her men but gained even more.
Loved how the den came out in force to protect Shaylee and really liked what happened to the Uncle.
I have owned this book for many years and have read and reviewed it a long time ago but reviews submitted from the back of books seem to be missing.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5 - I LOVE THIS AUTHOR!!
Shaylee was such a soft and strong character, and I absolutely melted over her healing abilities and her connection to nature. The tension between the brothers, the pull of fate, and the stakes of choosing one—or both—was so juicy. I was on edge the whole time, wondering how it would shake out. The wintery setting made their fiery love burn even hotter, and I’m still thinking about that emotional sacrifice near the end. This one had such a deep emotional pulse to it—tenderness, passion, danger, and devotion all in one tight little story.

Such a great love story when two brothers look for the love they want. A girl that finds a dying bear only to find that it's not just any bear but a shifter. They go on a journey of twists and turns and leads to a great place. So check this series you won't be disappointed

My Review
Let me start off by saying that I R.E Butler's books very much. So, I had very high expections going into this, with it being the fourth book and what not.
(spoilers ahead)
My first big con was the fact that it was only 70 pages and since its been a while since I read the last book I wasn't sure if they all were that short. Needless to say I was a bit put off by this but being the loyal, book reader I am I pushed forwad and settled down for a short read. Well it was supposed to be a short read but I kept finding myself putting it aside because of how corny it was. Don't get me wrong I enjoy mushy scenes but these came off as kind of childish and had me laughing instead of cooing and awing.
After getting 13% in my face was like:
Like seriously Lynx and Shaylee are just gonna have sex, in the woods right after meeting?! What the Hell. I have a serious problem with this, there was no relationship building just BAM penis is your vagina. Ugh.
Then 55% in my face turns into this:
So, now shes gone and had sex with his brother Tavian and she literally just met the dude. Now this is the real kicker she says "His cock pushed against my quivering entrance and for one brief moment our eyes locked, and I knew I wouldn't be able to live without him." Like are you serious!?!Because you guys had amazing sex (it seriously was amazing though ;)) you can't live without him? Yeah, that come off as sleazy to me.
Ok and I'll admit I died laughing when I realized at the end that her new name was Shaylee Stalking Horse sounds like something my four year old sisters would come up with lmfao.
Overall
I got a few kicks and giggles from this book so that was a plus, but it was sorely lacking in the world and relationship building aspect. I also enjoyed some of the sweet and touching scenes and liked how the authoer added the fairy world into the mix, just wish it was more inncorporated. I gave this three stars because I felt it wasn't up to par with the rest of the series and the other books I've read by this other. I still recommend it because I mean hey, you've read this far, don't stop now. I will be continuing on the next book hoping for some redemption and I won't be buying it like I did with this book because that was kind of a waste of 0.99c. So, onto the library I go. ;)

Pretty sweet story. Way different from book 3. We get a fairy this time! A healing fairy in Shaylee. She's been banished from her realm because her evil uncle wants to take her place on the court. Well, its been months and shes tried to make a life in the earth realm. She comes across a bear dying one day. She heals him with her powers but upon waking and learning his name is Lynk she's so drawn to him they mate. They end up going to his den to meet his family which coincidentally is the home of Elizabeth, Ash, and Axe. Lynk feels she is is mate and she feels it too. However, she meets his brother Tavian and actually mistakes him for Lynk...she sorta freaks cause they do look alike and even smell the same which means one thing. He's her mate too. After doing the scenting test its confirmed but she runs off because Lynk is so upset and isnt willing to share her at first. I guess he comes to his senses and decides to try because he can't stand losing her. Then Tavian and Shaylee spend time together and they mate as well. While that goes on Lynk spends the night away because its only fair. He comes back and has come to the conclusion he's ok with it all and accepts it all. Her uncle does come back but her bears protect her killing him. However, she cant stay in this realm as a fairy. So...she loses her wings in a not to pleasant way...ouch! Its worth it though to stay with her bears. She still has her powers but not as a fairy but a nymph. Alls well. :)

While out hunting one day she came across an injured bear and as she was about to put him out of his misery she realized that he was a were not a full bear. So she helped him instead. She was able to tell that she was his mate and when he woke up there was no resisting him. When he decided to take her to his den for dinner she mistook his brother for him because he had the same enticing scent. The mate scent.
They have a problem. One brother does not mind both of them mating with Shaylee, while the other wants her all to himself. Can she find a way to get them to both be okay mating with her or will she end up tearing the brothers apart? What will happen when her past catches up with her and she finds herself in danger?

This fast paced and smooth flowing plot captivates readers with suspense and romance. R. E. Butler brings the story to life with well written scenes and details that inspire vivid images that capture the imagination. The strong and enchanting characters draw the reader deeper into the story while the well orchestrated suspense ensures that the reader wants to know how everything works out for Shaylee and her two suitors.
Shaylee burns hot for Lynk and finds happiness in his arms, but when he takes her to the den, she discovers that she burns just as hot for his brother, Tavian . The reader can’t help but get caught up in their passion as they try to work out a solution and the frequent hot and steamy sex scenes.
If the romance isn’t enough there’s even more excitement when Shaylee’s uncle arrives and threatens to destroy everyone she’s come to love. I was completely caught up in the story from the beginning and as with all her stories, the author adds her own little surprising twists to the characters that make them stand out and I can’t wait to read the next one.

When Lynk the were-bear wakes up, he discovers his healer is also his mate. He takes her back to den to introduce her to his family and the rest of the den. But he doesn't anticipate that his brother Tavian is also her mate as well. Angry at first, he refuses to share her. When Shaylee storms out of the den because she refuses to tear the family apart because of her, they go after her and come to an agreement.
They decide to switch days with each other on who spends time with her. But after just one day Lynk finally realizes he rather share with Tavian than live without her, and also he wouldn't put his brother through the torture of being without his mate or hurting Shaylee by not allowing her not to have her other mate.

I really liked this book a lot. So romantic and sexy. Great world building too. The were-bear (tribe?) living underground but in Teepees like Native Americans gives you something you can relate too. When I bought this book I didn't know it was part of a series that I had already read two of the books to. "A Curve of Claw" being the first in the series, then "A Flash of Fang" being the second book. Turns out I didn't read "A Price For A Princess" because I didn't know about it but read this book and recognized some of the characters then realized it was a series. Next book I read is the Princess book. I love the way R.E. Butler writes with so much emotion between Shaylee and her were-bear lovers. Swoon....
I recommend this to Romance and adventure lovers who like an erotic (but not overly done)sexy read with emotion on the side.

Sweet menage with a nicely done storyline. I like Shaylee and how kind-hearted she is. The struggle between Lynk and Tavian takes a while. They finally to come to the point where they realize the damage they're doing to Shaylee and their own bond as brothers. I enjoyed the action as well as all the sweet and spicy moments.

This is a sweet hot story of a healing fairy who saves a werebear from death. In doing so she found one her mates and it changed her life for the better. Sometimes when it looks like things are never going to change and she's always going to be alone, fate intervenes. Enjoy I did. This is a reread.

I enjoyed this book. It is a great addition to the series. I loved the fae in the story. I am happy for the brothers that they could share their mate. I thought the book had all kinds of great action.

As with the previous book in this series, the relationships felt a bit rushed. The action scene was a bit unexpected and also rushed. However, the sex scenes were hot and the love story post action scene is very sweet.

I seriously love me some were-bear action. These guys were yummy and I couldn't put the book down. Sometimes sharing isn't easy, even for shifters who end up as one of a trio of mates.
