As with every book I’ve read by this author, the content is scripture filled and led, power packed, and challenging in a practical ways. Also, in true Stormie Omartian fashion, each chapter has a tidbit on the topic for that day, along with a scripture driven prayer, and a section for supporting scriptures. I got quite a bit out of each days brief reading. I’m so so thankful for Stormie…..every book I’ve read by her over the years has helped me realign myself with the Word and has helped me grow. She is so solid and rooted in the Word, I feel like it’s impossible to tap into her writing and not have the Word sown down deep into my spirit. Highly recommend this book to any woman of faith who wants to grow, regardless of the season of faith you’re in.
I've read many books on prayer. This is the format I love best (content, prayer, scriptures). It is always helpful to me when authors include actual prayers in a book about prayer. I will definitely check out more of her books
This woman writes some of my favorite devotional books. This one is PACKED with scripture and encouragement! I recommend it for the new believer as well as the veteran because you can never be reminded enough of truth and God's promises.
This was a very simple, inspiring read. I read each chapter daily and it served as a daily pick-me-up. I enjoyed the prayers at the end of the chapter because they were relevant. The tone of the book wasn't preachy which I can appreciate. It was simple and straight to the point. You can apply most of the advice to life immediately. Good read.
