James Maclaine has written books about meerkats, general knowledge and manners, come up with countless drawing, doodling and colouring ideas, and devised puzzles and things to do for a range of activity books. His Junior Illustrated Thesaurus is the book that he wishes he'd had as a child.
This is a very informative and easy to read informational book about tigers. It covers everything that tigers do from what they eat, how they hunt, where they live, how they raise their young, etc. The pictures are very vibrant in this informational picture book and the text is nice and large to read it easily. There was a colored box with text on each page that threw in an extra interesting fact about tigers. Some facts were funny and other facts were things I never even knew about tigers! For example, I read that tigers can hear 5 times better than humans! I also found out that a baby tigers stripes will turn darker over time. I always assumed they were Born with dark stripes. Anyway, this is a great book for students to expand their knowledge about tigers. I highly recommend.
