I generally like the Stackpole Military History Series. But in this case, it was a bit of let down. I did read the entire book. I found it lacking. The editing was horrible. How they could let so many typos in the final copy is beyond me. I also don't think it was well translated. It is also out of context. Did they interview the 100 year old Fritz Lucke or is the book based more on his propaganda from 1941? It needs an introduction by the translators. I like reading propaganda as it adds to my knowledge of history. This book needed more maps. Lots more maps. The pictures are great though.
