A boost for my morning devotions

I've been reading the Guideposts devotions for several years. The devotions are written by a group of contributors, many who have written for Guideposts for numerous years. They share personal events in their lives and you feel like you begin to know them. This year (2013) a Bible scripture reference has been added at the end of each devotion for additional reading. Usually the verse relates to the subject of the devotion, but sometimes it seems rather random.
