Annabel
Shielding her eyes from the wind she looked up at the silhouette standing above. The gloomy light that the thick, overcast sky allowed entry to, left the figure mostly in shadow. The man, for the voice implied as much, was reasonably tall and wearing well tailored clothes and shoes but, maybe most importantly of all, there appeared to be genuine concern in his voice. Slowly. Deliberately. She pushed herself up. The pavement beneath, cold concrete, further chilling her already cold hands, red and sore from the exposure.
When the charismatic Sebastian offers an escape from life on the freezing streets of London, Annabel is eager to take it.
