The Lifelights are poised to claim another female, but danger lies ahead. It's been nine years since Rosa Munroe survived the terrible act that killed her parents. With the help of her guardians, Paul and Jennie Weston, she has built a life for herself on the Legacy Ranch. Her world revolves around the ranch's bed and breakfast business and secretly lusting after her childhood friend, Nathan Park. But Nathan still sees her as a child, his 'Little Rosa'. Maybe it's time she started looking elsewhere? Would he see her as an adult then? It's a dangerous game she's playing. Because someone is watching her. Plotting their revenge on the Lifelights.

Firstly, Alina Voyce is a pseudonym. In the real world she answers to the name 'Sue Grainger'.

She is a wife, the mother of two adults (at least, that's what the law calls them - but they're fighting it), and has lived in East Yorkshire, England, for her entire life. It's an area she's proud to call 'home'.

Naturally creative, she's an author, an artist, and enjoys baking and decorating cakes for her family and friends. She's also a keen observer of the world around her, and has a passion for music that ranges from classical, to country, to rock.

The stories she writes are a mesh of ideas generated by who she is and who she imagines herself being as part of the plot. The world is a fascinating place, and the people she meets a constant source of inspiration. There are so many talented people out there, so many lifestyles, and so many points of view...

Another story that started on webook. This one went through its own "evolution", and went along a different path than the one it started with. The finished product is AMAZING. I was SO unsatisfied when I finished, only because it left me with more questions than answers! 21st Century Light wasn't done yet,and I was dying for more! Seriously a well-written novel that doesn't fail to deliver as the second in the series (normally sequels aren't as good as the first; not in this case!)!!

Kindle sample only - Lifelight Evolution continues a few years on from where Lifelights left off, only now, as the cover picture implies, the story is set on a ranch in America. Evolution is very much a sequel, but different in most ways to its predecessor. Alina's writing is as fluid and as easy-to-get-along-with as ever, slightly colloquial in parts but poetic enough when the need arises. The general feel to this book is one of a romance, supernatural in places, sufficiently pacy, but ostensibly a romance and as such, will surely appeal more to female readers than perhaps it did me. However, as with any well-written book of any genre, Evolution is perfectly readable by anyone.

Light Evolution, the second in the Lifelight series, is every bit as spectacular as the first. Alina Voyce is exceptionally talented at drawing you into her story and making you feel the passion and pain of Rosa and Nate as the love that binds them together is tested when another man attempts to come between them. Light Evolution is the perfect blend of sci-fi, suspense, mystery, and romance. If you're looking for something fresh and exciting to read, I highly recomment Lifelights and Light Evolution. I look forward to continuing the adventure in the next Lifelights novel.
