Feeling trapped by the way life has boxed them, four Oregonians step out to embrace new challenges. Courtney seeks her birth parents and the answers to the question of whether or not she should marry and have children. Alice opens her heart to new love after years of widowhood. Aaron moves across country in order to set aside his grief. Woody hires his third housekeeper in six months, in order to care for his abandoned nieces. Will a small step of faith free these lonely hearts to love completely? Or will circumstances bind them to the past?
I enjoyed reading Birdie Etchison's four inspiring stories in Oregon Breeze. It was refreshing to read Christian-based relationship novels. I look forward to reading more of her words and wisdom.
I started this book but didn't finish it as it was apparent that I would figure out what would happen in each story from reading the first chapter. (I skipped to the back and discovered I was right.) If you like predictable books, it's okay but for me it takes the interest out of it.
Short romance stories, clean. Dealing with romance, faith and religion. Its funny that it's always found out if one "believes". Doesn't really take much to "believe", it's the doing man. I found the stories amost annoying and kind of lamish.
