Sometimes we read books at the precisely right time. I bought this more than two years ago after hearing the author's episode on The Lively Show but I didn't start reading it until last fall, just a chapter here and there. I’ve always been an intuitive person but this past year has been a hard season and I was hopeful this book would help me find some answers on what’s next. And it did, although not in the way I expected. This book and the practical exercises within reminded me I can still trust my intuition, even when things don’t turn out as planned. If you’re at all interested in how our intuition works, this is so worth reading. I’ll be returning to this book regularly in the years to come.

This is an insightful audiobook that offers practical tools for connecting with your inner wisdom and achieving clarity in life. The author presents a range of techniques to help listeners tap into their intuition, make better decisions, and cultivate a sense of peace and purpose. Overall, the audiobook is engaging and provides valuable guidance that can be applied in everyday life.

One of the standout aspects of the book is its alignment with principles found in Buddhism. Many of the suggestions emphasize mindfulness, self-awareness, and living in harmony with the present moment—concepts deeply rooted in Buddhist philosophy. This connection adds depth to the material and makes it accessible to those who appreciate spiritual teachings grounded in universal truths.

However, one critique of the audiobook is its frequent mention of God. While this may resonate with some listeners, those who have a different understanding of God might find this aspect less appealing. Personally, I view God more as the laws of nature—an impersonal force governing the universe—rather than a deity actively involved in human lives. The audiobook’s portrayal of God felt more personal and interventionist, which occasionally detracted from my experience. A broader or more inclusive approach to spirituality might have made the book even more impactful for diverse audiences.

Despite this, I found “Divine Intuition” highly useful overall. Its practical exercises and thought-provoking insights encouraged me to reflect deeply on my own intuition and decision-making processes. For anyone seeking greater inner clarity and guidance, this audiobook is well worth exploring.

I had attempted to read this book three times before finally getting through it to the end. I think it was the "how" I approached the material that proved to be a challenge until now. Previously, I began to complete each of the suggested exercises as I was going along, and when I hit a wall, I just stopped. This time, I read, took notes, and kept moving through each chapter.

I am SO, SO happy that I picked this book up NOW. I continue to reflect on each chapter through my life's journey and apply the information to my personal and professional life. I typically read a non-fiction business or leadership during my mornings and decided that this book would be a nice change of pace, AND I might grab something that I could apply to my work responsibilities. This book did not disappoint! While not the goal, I found a lot of great tips to help propel my work projects in addition to strengthening my own personal, religious, and spiritual practices.

I took my time with this one, reading it slowly and going through the journal prompts. Definitely something I will return to in the future to remind me.

Initially thought to rate it as a 3 star, but ended giving one star less because the amount of god and bible references were a bit too much for me.

I really liked this book. Is highly recommended especially in the mornings. If you take the book as your first task in the day, you will feel the difference for the rest.
What I like is the point of view of the author about the intuition and some tools to put it in practice.

I will re-read it after 5 years.
