THEY MAY NOT HAVE ENOUGH EVIDENCE TO CONVICT HIM, BUT THEY HAVE ENOUGH TO RUIN HIS LIFE.
Dr. Matt Newman thought he was leaving his life as a surgeon in private practice for a better one in academic medicine. But the kidnappers who attacked him as he left the hospital at 2 a.m. have no such plans—they just want him dead. Bound and in the trunk of his car, Matt’s only thought is fleeing with his life. He does escape, but at a price: a head injury that lands him in the ICU . . . where he awakens to discover he’s being charged with murder.
Sandra Murray is a fiery, redheaded lawyer who swore she was done with doctors after her last relationship. But when Matt calls, she knows she can’t walk away from defending someone who is truly innocent.
Matt’s career is going down the drain. His freedom and perhaps his life may be next. But with the police convinced he’s a killer and the kidnappers still trying to finish what they started, finding the truth—and the faith to keep going—will be the toughest stress test Matt has ever endured.

This was a good romantic suspense novel - great with the medical and legal details! When Dr. Matt Newman finishes his final surgery and is headed home before starting his new role as a staffing physician, he's accosted in the parking lot, bound and placed in the trunk of his car. When he is able to free himself, but finds himself in the ER with a head injury, he finds himself in a precarious situation, wanted for murder and without a support system. As he finds himself with only his attorney and God in his corner, he wonders if he has enough?
The suspense and action in this novel is intense and ongoing. I struggled a bit with the romance aspect, but I think that's largely due to my preference for suspense novels without the romance. Regardless, I enjoyed the story arc. The characters were well-developed and likable, and I enjoyed seeing Matt's faith grow as he was forced to become dependent on God. I would recommend this one to fans of inspirational romantic suspense.
Fast-paced and original, Stress Test by Richard L. Mabry, M.D., grabbed me right away and wouldn’t let go. It was one of those books that I wanted to keep reading. See what happens next. See how things were going to play out.
Matt is a great main character. He’s down-to-earth and generally a decent person. The reader shares his disbelief that someone would want to kidnap him – and kill him. While reading, my mind went through all sorts of scenarios that could explain it, but I just couldn’t figure it out. Even as things started to be revealed and more details were shared, I still didn’t quite get the big why. When it’s revealed, I had put together some of the pieces – or at least figured out many of the people involved – but had not figured out the whole thing. It is so nice and refreshing to have that happen! :)
So, Sandra Murray. She’s another likable character, but we don’t see things centered on her quite as much as we see Matt’s experiences. But this really is his story, although we do see things with several different characters as the focal point. Even with that, I wasn’t able to fully figure out what was going on. Don’t get me wrong. I could follow the action. I just couldn’t guess how everything would play out.
There are some faith aspects as part of this book, but it’s not preachy at all. We have characters who are curious about God, characters who don’t believe in God, and characters who are strong (or becoming strong) Christians. No one is preachy. It’s all very real, very much like the faith – or lack thereof – that I see from day to day. If you’re not a reader of the Christian persuasion, I don’t think you should let the Christian parts scare you off. The action, the mystery, the suspense – it’s all a much greater focus. The story itself is right up there with mainstream mystery/suspense thrillers. I highly recommend Stress Test by Richard L. Mabry, M.D.
STRESS TEST is action packed and edge of your seat reading at its best.
Dr. Matt Newman is on the threshold of a new life. He’s decided to leave his private practice and join the ranks of academic medicine. He’s also ready to take the next step in his current relationship. But everything changes when he is kidnapped by men that plan to kill him. Escaping within an inch of his life, Matt suffers a head injury and wakes up in the ICU the key suspect in a murder. From that moment on his life no longer resembles his own. His girlfriend leaves him, his practice is gone, and his new job is in limbo. He hires Sandra Murray to defend him and figure out what the heck is going on. She’s good at what she does but Matt’s feelings for her are more than just professional. He is definitely attracted to her, but with the police ready to charge him with murder and the real killers trying to silence him, he’s not sure he’s going to get the chance to pursue her.
Sandra Murray thought she was through with doctors. Her last relationship did not end well, but when Matt calls for her help, her gut tells her he’s innocent and needs her help. The more time she spends with Matt, the more Sandra realizes all doctors are not the same. But unless she can find who’s framing Matt and get to the bottom of all that’s happening, she might never get the chance to explore her feelings for Matt.
Action packed is an understatement. Fast paced and griping doesn’t begin to describe Stress Test. Richard Mabry, M.D. brings such authenticity to his novels but his talent doesn’t stop there. His characters are well fleshed out and dynamic, and the chemistry between Matt and Sandra is equal parts gun-shy and magnetism. A must read for those who enjoy the medical field as the backdrop of an intricately plotted story.
4.4 -- I read this book in less than a day. The suspense started on the second page, so the story grabbed my interest from the start. There wasn't much suspense, but I didn't want to put the book down because it was interesting. I also really liked the main character and his lawyer. This was the first book I've read by Mr. Mabry, but I'll be reading more.
Well I have definitely found a new favorite author. I know Richard Mabry has been writing for years and I have heard of his books for years also, but this is the first time I have read one. I can’t say enough about how much I enjoyed this book. It is well written and well researched. It has lot’s of twists and turns and surprises. There are also little tidbits of things included, I.e. how he treated a burn, that are very interesting. The building romance between Dr. Matt Newman and Attorney Sandra Murray, as she defends him against false accusations, is very well done. Not the focus of the story but there in the background until the right time for it to become a major part. I will definitely be reading more of Richard Mabry’s books.
What would you do if while walking to your car after a long night at work, you suddenly found yourself being beaten and thrown in the trunk of your own car? What if you managed to escape only to find yourself waking up in a hospital accused of a murder, you are quite certain you didn't commit? What if all the evidence seemed to point to you and everything you claim had happened, can't be proven?
Welcome to the life of Dr. Matt Newman! He was about to begin a new job as assistant professor of surgery at Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas and give up his private practice. He was in a thriving relationship with Jennifer who worked for the District Attorney and was making plans to marry her and begin a family. Just when it all seemed like everything was going his way, he found himself being kidnapped and the last words he recalled hearing before being thrown in the trunk of his own car was "Get rid of him."
Matt did what he had to before they were able to follow through with his plans and managed to escape into a dark alley. When his captors finally gave up trying to find him, he managed to fall off a pile of pallets and wound up in the hospital with a head injury that required surgery. It's when he woke up that life changed in an instant. Suddenly the police were there asking him about a body they found in the trunk of his car along with his wallet. Despite Matt's pleas for innocence, the police believed they had an iron clad open and shut case against Matt for the murder of one of his colleagues. They informed him that he might want to obtain a lawyer.
Sandra Murray considered herself one of the best criminal defense lawyers now they she branched out and formed her own practice. When she received Matt's call from the hospital, something told her that despite all the evidence piling up against him, he might just be innocent. Knowing that everyone deserves a chance at being represented, she agrees to take the case and before long, it seems as if Sandra is finding a hard time, believing that Matt didn't commit murder based on the evidence that keeps working against him. No matter what he claims, there is no proof that anything Matt claims really happened to him.
In the novel Stress Test by Dr. Richard L. Marby, M.D., the author once more takes the readers through the world of medicine to an intense thriller when Matt is wanted for murder. All of those around him, suddenly wonder if he is really innocent. His girlfriend fears that being associated with a possible murder suspect will put her own career at the District Attorney's office at risk, his future job is placed on hold until Matt's case is resolved which means he is literally out of a job with no viable way to pay for a defense attorney. What is even worse is that the people who are out to kill him are still out there and soon Matt learns that he is the next victim. They won't be allowed to let him escape again.
I received Stress Test by Dr. Richard L. Marby, M.D. compliments of Thomas Nelson Publishers and Litfuse Publicity for my honest review and received no monetary compensation for a favorable one. This is the second book, I've had the opportunity to review one of his fictional novels and LOVE every single minute. It is heart-stopping and adrenaline rushing excitement from the very first page. While you have a guess at what could be going on, you won't believe the unbelievable ending. For those that LOVE a bit of medical drama along with a touch of romance and suspense, you'll definitely want to pick this one up. It's definitely a 5 out of 5 star winner and I literally stayed up too late to finish it. I just had to know how it ended. I couldn't wait for morning.
Richard Mabry has done it again!! I have yet to read a book by Dr. Mabry that I have not enjoyed!!
Dr. Matt Newman is working his way through the world while falling in love with a legal assistant named Jennifer. He wants to marry her and start a life with her but she is wishing he didn't have such long, unpredictable hours. Dr. Newman decides to close up his practice and go into a more laid back physicians role to honor her.
He ends up kidnapped, in the back of a car, going who knows where one night after shift. Was this planned or a freak coincidence and the kidnappers got the wrong guy? Why him? What did he do? He narrowly escapes and wakes up in a hospital room attached all sorts of wires and machines to find out he is now being charged with murder.
In the meantime, everything he had planned is now on hold. His girlfriend won't return his calls, the police are after him for a murder he doesn't know anything about, and he gets a call that his new job is now on hold.
Sandra Murray is a redheaded lawyer who has just learned about Matt's case. She's leery of taking it because, after all, she isn't fond of doctors right now. Especially the one covering Matt's medical case. She decides that she will represent Matt anyway, after the way her responds with her line of questioning in the hospital room. Is she making a mistake?
Matt gets discharged from the hospital and that's where the real nightmares begin. Will he ever get his life back? Will he be cleared of the charges? What about those who kidnapped him?
This book will keep you on the edge of your seat!! I loved how the story never really lets up. I think my heartbeat finally went back to normal a couple hours after finishing this book!!
I will say that there is only one fault I find in the book. If you read this book (or any other book for that matter) and see that the "Sinner's Prayer" will save you, I strongly encourage you to search your Bibles more. Nowhere in the Bible is the "Sinner's Prayer" mentioned. What is mentioned, however, is that to be saved and covered in the blood of Jesus, one must first Hear the Word of God. Second, one must Believe in that Word of God. Next, one must make a public confession and repent of their sins. This is where most people stop. However, in Acts 2:38-39, it reads, "Then Peter said to them, 'Repent and let everyone of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are afar off, as many as the Lord our God will call.'" There was a line also mentioned something to the effect of "you don't have to go to church to be a Christian" (I paraphrased that). That is also not true according to the Bible. Hebrews 10:23-32 discusses the implications of forsaking the assembling of the saints. I would love to talk to you about this further should you have questions. Also, please understand that there are many other versus besides the ones I have listed above that will help to answer these questions.
I do wish you, my readers, well and I hope that you will diligently search for the truth yourselves and not rely on what any man has to say in Biblical matters. Our Bibles should serve as our roadmaps.
After escaping an attack and kidnapping, Matt Newman is charged with a murder he has nothing to do with. He seeks legal assistance from Sandra Murray. Reeling from the kidnapping and trying to recover his life, Matt must try to maintain his innocence despite the evidence stacked against him.
Mabry succeeds eluding the reader regarding why Matt has been kidnapped and framed of murder. Who did it is obvious, we get glimpses of scenes from the perpetrators. However, I don't care why Matt is in trouble. Though it's unfortunate he's in this situation, he was not a character that I felt a connection to or even slightly cared about. None of the characters were. The story wasn't gripping enough, thrilling enough. To add to that, the constant preaching was entirely over-the-top. I am a Christian, but I really do not like it when people are in the business of converting others. It was as if Mabry was advertising how amazing God is. And through your belief in Him, you will be set free! However, in life everything isn't as easy. This story had so many coincidences that worked out in Matt's favor. One in particular pertains to Matt's bail. Sandra says in response to his uneasiness that God will provide even though he has no funds. Immediately there's money available through a donation from a family of a patient he saved. Yes, that's right. If you believe in God, money will magically appear in your time of need. If this is the case, poverty would not be a problem.
I would like to end the review with a quote that made me just want to throw the book at the wall, "She knew somewhere God had a husband for her, and when she met him and moved forward, she trusted that her life would finally be full. " How utterly sad! Yes, to all women out there. Your life is hollow and you will not feel complete without a man! -_-
Title: STRESS TEST Author: Richard L. Mabry, M.D. Publisher: Thomas Nelson April 2013 ISBN: 976-1-4016-8708-3 Genre: Fiction / Christian / Suspense
Have you ever had one of those days? Days where not only is nothing going right . . . but where everything is going wrong, as well? Meet Dr. Matt Newman. He’s having one of those days. Unfortunately for him, it just doesn’t seem to end.
Someone wants him dead. Someone wants him framed, convicted, and put away for life on murder charges. Someone else has just booted him out of her life. Matt just wants to get on with his life. But even his own body won’t let him get away with that.
On the plus side, Matt has a missionary brother who is interceding on his behalf, and a fiery, red-headed lawyer who chose her faith over the world.
But with the police convinced he’s a killer and the kidnappers still trying to finish what they started, finding the truth – and the faith to keep going – will be the toughest stress test Matt has ever endured.
Dr. Mabry is one of my favorite physicians . . . I mean authors. Maybe, just maybe . . . I mean both! He has the unique ability to take the world of medicine – the good, the bad and the ugly – and make it understandable to the man on the street. Really understandable. And he doesn’t need three pages of confusing (sometimes terrifying) medicalese to do so. In STRESS TEST, Dr. Mabry skillfully weaves together the story of – well, life. Because life happens, and when it does, it’s not pretty. But underlying Matt’s story is The Story that explains everything. STRESS TEST is one that will keep you up nights. You won’t just want to find out “whodunit,” you’ll want to find out why it all happened in the first place. And the answers may very well keep you up for many nights afterward. 5 stars. 312 pages. $15.99.
***Don't miss this page turning suspense & romance without coarse language***
Retired physician Richard L. Mabry, now popular award winning author, adds Stress Test to his growing list of Christian suspense titles. It’s a narrative of murder, kidnapping and deception with a dash of chaos, confusion and romance.
Readers meet Dr. Matt Newman as he leaves the emergency room of Metropolitan Hospital’s Medical Center after saving a seriously injured teen when the girl beside him in the car had been killed. The natural “high” he savors isn’t uncommon after pulling a patient back from the brink of death, a natural high that can’t be found in “…anything from a glass, bottle or syringe” only in the life and death situations of an emergency room.
The ER’s pneumatic doors close with a “hiss” behind him as Matt notes the time—2:00 am. He won’t miss that familiar hiss and all it implies, he thought. He had sold his medical practice to accept a new teaching position as assistant professor at Dallas’s Southwestern Medical Center. Tonight was his last night in the ER and his future looked promising. The added structure in academia might even make it possible for Matt and his girlfriend to consider marriage.
With his thoughts on Jennifer, he fished the car keys from his pocket and headed toward “his silver Chevy Impala” parked in a dark corner of the deserted garage. He couldn’t know…Full Review: http://www.examiner.com/list/stress-t...
When I knew this book was by Dr Mabry, I knew I was going to like it, and he didn't disappoint. Stress Test might be what the main character is experiencing, but you are going to feel the stress while you page turn to get to the answers. What poor Dr Matt Newman experiences in this book, should not happen to anyone. Just when you think things are about to be cleared up and start to get better...boom...they don't! If he were a cat, he would be down to life Number 8. The main question is "why", why are all these things happening to him? He is charged with murder, and someone or some people want him dead. Where can he turn? Seems like all the people he counted on are not there for him, except he does have God on his side. God also seems to be putting people in his path, during these trials, that are trying to bring bring him back Home to Him. Enter Sandra Murray, a beautiful redheaded, spitfire of a Lawyer. She belongs to God, and is not interested in any relationships where she is unequally yoked. Will she be able to help Matt? From one page to the next you will be on pins and needles, but it is a great read. Don't miss this one!!
I received this book through Litfuse Publicity Group, and was not required to give a positive review.
I have all Dr Mabry's books and never hesitate to buy his latest. I'm never disappointed. He writes medical thrillers in the same vein as Robin Cook and Michael Palmer, but without any language and with the wonderful and welcome addition of Christian values.
Dr. Matt Newman walks out of the hospital after a busy shift one night and is kidnapped, thrown into the trunk of his car and driven off to be murdered. He manages to escape but wakes up in a hospital with a head injury after emergency surgery. He has no idea what has happened to him. Why in the world was he kidnapped? Who would want him dead? He's lived a very ordinary life, done nothing to deserve this.
Sandra Murray is the best criminal defense attorney in town and she's been called to defend Matt. Her Christian principles have guided her in her career and she's not about to let them slide for any reason.
Will she be able to help Matt? Especially after another attempt is made and more evidence planted to make him look bad?
This book drags you in from the very first and doesn't let go until the last page. Dr. Mabry has a unique ability to build suspense at a pace that makes you nearly breathless and then races to the conclusion.
I'm already planning to preorder his next, Heart Failure.
Dr. Matt Newman was making some changes in his profession, little did he know that those changes would get him in some pretty deep, dangerous trouble! His girlfriend was complaining because of his long hours in his private practice, so he decided to teach medicine and have regular hours. But before he ever got a chance to teach his first class, he was....can’t tell, I just can’t tell. If anyone of you are familiar with my reviews, you know that I don’t like to let anything out that will spoil the surprise. I honestly can’t say anything more about this book without doing that!
All you need to know is that once you start this book, you will not be able to put it down. It’s a fast-paced suspense thriller with doctors, lawyers, ER emergencies, some very bad men and a little hint of romance.
If this is the kind of book you like to read, I highly recommend it.
It's true that the book is OK. I mean it keeps you reading, trying to figure out, why they are hunting Dr. Matt. Thing is you don't have a clue till you read 95% of the book. And even when we are told, what and why, it is such a childish ending, so without any imagination. It's like starting a book with murder, not giving any clue, and in the end, we find out that the murderer is the "Milk man" that was never mention before. Anyway the author didn't provide us with any exceptional idea. A very superficial story. Another point I didn't like was the very obvious attempt of the author to feed us with religion. Trying to bring us into Christianity. I have never read a book, in which the author, tried so plainly to convert us into believing in God. Why 3 stars ? because there is no 2.5 stars.
Barely managed to finish it. Not believable storyline, way way too many coincidences of people who knew of each other through random acts of their lives, a main character who cheats death too many times. A religious theme ran right through the story, which went nowhere. If I wanted to read a religious theme, I would have read one of Dan Browns books or the bible. Please don't preach to me in a fictional story. Won't be back for anymore of Mr. Mabrys books
A medical thriller where the author leaves both the main character and the readers guessing until the end of the book. Dr. Matt Newman gives up his private practice to take a career in academic medicine, but leaving work on his last night, he is ambushed in the parking lot and kidnapped. While he escapes from his captors, a head injury incurred while fleeing prevents him from remembering anything after the concussion, including how the body of one of his former coworkers ended up in the trunk of his car. Newman insists he is innocent, and recruits a well-known defense attorney, Sandra Murray, to his side. Murray has connections that suggest the prosecutor's office is determined to charge Newman with the murder, so the two of them have work to do in hopes that the judge or jury believes Matt's kidnapping story. The book has a very Christian theming, with Newman and Murray both convinced that God will provide them with the resolution they want despite the insurmountable odds. When you're faced with the potential of life in prison or even the death penalty, believing in a higher power can be what gets you through each day. There are no sex scenes in the book, replaced instead by scenes of relationships at crossroads because one party believes absolutely in God and His power while the other's faith is significantly less of a motivating factor in their lives. It's nice to read a thriller once in a while where there aren't graphic sex scenes spoiling the flow. I've read other books by Mabry, and would continue to choose them again if I came across them at a sale or the library.
I wouldn't bother with this one. The writing is unsophisticated, more drawn in crayon than pencil crayon, and the plot laughable.
The characters aren't very bright; in particular, the protagonist -- a doctor! -- is totally clueless about so many things. How could a doctor be so dumb?! In one spot I actually sniggered ... That's when he said he was paying off his car and student loans "and stuff like that." Yes, that is the kind of dialogue you'll read in this book. The detective is a buffoon, and I cannot believe he's made detective rank with such thuggish methods.
The girlfriend Jennifer is described as bright and fun but she's written in a totally one-dimensional way, and I find it hard to understand why a doctor would be so smitten with her. She's a secretary who's worried about her standing in the DA's office, and that being connected to someone charged with murder might hurt her chances of advancement. In the secretarial pool!
I read about 30 pages of this and when it became clear the writing and story weren't going to get any better, I skimmed to the end just because I wanted to know how the author would wrap this up. I wish I hadn't bothered.
I also found the inclusion of Christian beliefs throughout jarring. It's odd to see people praying for guidance etc., in a thriller.
If you're looking for a good medical thriller, I can recommend Tess Gerritsen or Peter Clement (both of whom are also doctors). But give this one a miss.
Stress Test by Richard Mabry is an entertaining and suspenseful medical mystery. Doctor Matt Newman is being targeted and set up for murder charges and he has no clue why. And neither does the reader till the end of the book. The author does a great job of drawing the reader into the story right from the start and of keeping the reader's interest with fast-paced action, suspense, and romance with a strong thread of faith in God woven throughout. Tommy Cresswell does a great job of narration on the audiobook. His voice is easy to listen to and makes the listening experience a pleasant one. This action-packed story with its twists and turns is a great read for those who love a good murder mystery. I listened to a library copy of the audiobook and was not required to write a review. The opinions are my own.
Another wonderfully entertaining medical thriller by Dr Richard Mabry! Dr Mabry is one of my favorite authors! I am so glad he decided to write fiction upon retiring!! His medical knowledge brings so much depth and authority to the plot and characters. I had an idea who was behind the mystery but I was only half right. I also didn’t get the reason why correct. I also enjoyed the light romance.
The lead character, Matt, is a general surgeon and is facing everyone’s nightmare....being framed for murder. On top of that, someone is trying to kill him. As he is trying to figure out who and why, his life is falling for apart. A heart pumping suspense novel that is clean enough to pass on to your middle schoolers (which I love to do!).
A great read with lots of action. I recommend this book. Dr. Matt Newman is leaving his life as a surgeon in private practice for a better one in academic medicine or so he thinks. As he leaves the hospital he is kidnapped and he overhears them say they are planning on killing him. Why? He manages to escape but is injured. He wakes in a few days in the hospital but the police want to arrest him! Why? He manages to hire a lawyer but things just continue to spiral out of his control! Will Matt be able to survive the multiple attempts on his life? Will anyone figure out what is going on and why?
A not quite believable medical-legal Christian thriller involving a physician, Matt Newman with really bad luck. (Especially funny for me, as my nephew shares his name). I like the attorney who takes his case although the plot development between the two characters is a bit predictable. Matt's many close calls result in a deepening faith. Will future books contain a future for Matt, his brother the missionary & Sandra, the attorney? I will watch for the continued saga. NOTE - I listened to the audiobook & the narration was fine.
Action packed and suspense filled medical thriller.
Dr Matt Newman is abducted and almost killed one evening as he leaves the hospital. Why? And who is behind it? An intriguing mystery. This story has many unexpected twists and turns, I had absolutely no idea how it was all going to come together! I would have enjoyed a bit more of the medical part, the main focus is on the doctor, his abduction and the results following, and then a love interest.
I received a complimentary audio version, all opinions expressed here are my own.
Although very well written, I just didn't gel with Stress Test. The plot was great, the characters well written, but it lacked the "it" factor for me. For some odd reason, books set in Memphis, Nashville or Dallas always feel a little too atmospherically dry and always seem to smack of mafia-related crimes. Don't get me wrong, I love those cities heartily, but I've just never seemed to be able to get into books set there.
Enjoyable read! The story unfolded in a way that kept me wanting to read more. The characters were likable and relatable. I liked the religious threads and themes in the book, especially with the main character being a doctor, weaving together science and religion. Seeing Matt's religion journey was a great arc to read. The Matt and his lawyer Sandra have great chemistry throughout the whole novel. Its good that the author is a doctor himself, it helps the medical scenes come alive.
I really enjoyed this. This was fast and easy to read, even with the medical terms and procedures. The characters were easy to like and relatable. I enjoyed the faith elements and found them to be realistic. Some parts were a little convenient and the overall case against Newman was a little flimsy to believe it would be pursued as hard as it was, but overall this was really good.
I did not realize this book was classified as ‘Christian fiction’, not that I have anything against that but I did not feel it added anything to the story. The main story was good, but I felt as if, every so often, the author said ‘oh oh better put in some Bible sayings’. Just not my kind of thing.
If you really love fiction, murder mysteries, etc. you'll probably like this book, but I just found myself wanting the book to be over. I'm not a big fiction person so I'm probably the worst person to have read this book and to write a review. However, this book came in a collection of other audio books so I thought I'd give it a chance. I tried, but modern fiction abuses my brain.
Nothing like disguising some religious preachy nonsense as a thriller... stopped at about page 100 when the religious stuff was being shoved down my throat.
But to give another critique not religion related... the Jennifer character is most poorly written, unbelievable female character I’ve ever read.
I love the way his books direct you to the Lord and to follow Him w/o being preachy, just speaking to you heart!!! They are heartwarming and keep you engaged!!! You will enjoy I’m sure!!!!
