Using Google Docs in the Classroom

Google Docs™ is a free online software suite of word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, forms, and drawing programs. All files are stored by Google and are accessible from any computer that has Internet access. The format allows students to create, edit, share, and collaborate on documents with their peers-in the classroom or at home. He received his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Cornell University, and has taught Earth and Environmental Science at both the college and secondary school level for over ten years. Steve lives along the New York-Vermont Border where he continues to work on his various writing projects.

This should have been an overview of the tools available in Google classroom. Instead it was basically a bunch of project ideas that we're way too specific to be of use.
