It was a decent read. The characters are interesting and you do find yourself caring about what happens to them, but there is a lot of room for improvement.
#1. The stories tends to jump instead of flow.
#2. There are times when more detail is needed & others where there is to much detail about nothing.
That being said, I still want to read the next book in this series.
Book 3 was better than book 2, which was better than book 1. So, most likely book 4 should be better than book 3.
I am actually a fan of T.A. Grey. And enjoy her storytelling. If you like paranormal & eroticism you will enjoy this book.

This is actually a compilation of three novellas. Two of three heroes were jerks. All three relationships were based on attraction and sex alone. There is nothing else between them. Nothing at all. Still the graphic sex scenes kept me interested enough to finish the three books over 3 months.

All I have to say is... sexy, sexy, sexy. Hot damn! Book two was my favorite for sure. I enjoyed the banter between the two characters and I laughed out loud often while reading that book.

Very short stories
The 1st book immediately jumped into sex, the main characters are Vane and Sarina. who can't seem to keep enough of one another. Sarina bothered me because she came off to me like a whore; but I get it her breeding cycle was crazy.. she did things in the book that threw me off. Sarina is 22 and comes off as if she's 17 she's squeals to much and is selfcontious about herslef, to me that doesn't really rely Alpha matetial. The author could have made a better character for Sarina, oh and what's kind of name is Vane? His name reminded me of arteries?? hmmm could have done way better with this book, was super fast, mostly sex, and not much of a story. 🌟 🌟

Jack was sleeping with an enemy when he should have been helping Rome watch after Alison and because of that Alison was kid napped by the one person she feared most and hurt her really bad, Rome and Alison where a little more exciting in this book but she had way too many trust issues for me to really enjoy the book, and Rome was a computer geek...(no, not my type for a male character worth reading).. well that's it not worth my time glad they were free 🌟 🌟

Kategan Alphas Vol. 1 Is A Great Series OVER 18+ READING
Loved having the fun of having the oldest Vane finding a young woman on her own away from guards or an assigned male to help her though her mating cycle (which is extremely painful without a male), finding out she has gone through it for years at her father's orders makes him offer his help even though she tells him no sex but she is his mate. In the next book the youngest brother Rone who is the assigned guard to protect his brother's mate's best friend staying in the cabin next to his who goes into her heat on the first night there and he wasn't letting the male she called stay with her as soon as he realized why. She thinks he only wants to offer help though it, he thinks she wants nothing more than a few days help. Both are wrong. Then Vane's human friend is assigned to take his little sister to a meeting with the vampires , which becomes more important and dangerous then anyone expects. All really good stories.

Is it possible to have too much sex in a story?
This trio was an interesting read for me. I found myself actually wondering if there was a possibility to have too much sex in a story. All 3 of these books had more sex than plot and I found myself being disappointed with them. It was overkill and really killed the story line. I would have liked to have seen more plot and less banging for the sake of banging. These guys do it more than rabbits. The sex scenes are done well, it's just distracting from a story - which isn't really there from too much sex.

Don't let the 'freeness' lure you...like me.
These books were nothing but sexfests. The second almost identical to the first with name changes. The editing is none existent, the storyline poor and the characters weak and childlike. In all honesty I'd had enough half way through the first, tortured myself to read the second ( admittedly skimming through most of it), and completely refused to read the third.
If you want pages upon pages of what felt like meaningless sex, with no sizzle or chemistry, then go for it. Not for me.

I just love this series, because the HOT AND BOTHERED action is EXPLAINED, and makes sense to the arch of the story. Let's get this real clear; some authors think that romance novels are just hanky-panky with a time-period throw in, but there's a lot more to it. This book series is interesting to me because it makes a weird reason for everyone to want to jump each others bones. Also--there is no culture of promiscuity (really) to jump down everyone's throats over in this series. Which, I actually quite enjoyed.

The book was pretty good well all 3 were lol. Now wanted to read the others and of course they cost more since got this with my prime, so holding off on the others. In this 2 brothers & 1 sister find their mates and of course lots of adventure to go with it. I know of one more brother but not sure who the others r in the next books. But these were pretty good mostly sex but the story would have been good if more of it little less sex?

Excellent Paranormal Romances
The author writes very well and with a fascinating imagination! These 3 stories explored different paranormal couplings mixed in with suspense and action-packed situations. These scenarios complicate their progress toward getting to their happy endings. Luckily, there was sufficient suspense and drama as they proceeded toward their final goals. Enjoyed thoroughly!!!!

Not a whole lot of substance here. The series starts off with the heroine dreaming about sex. This is because she is in her breeding cycle / which I guess means that you don't have to be discriminate about your partner because it's all about the mating.
The stories are mainly an avenue to write sex scenes. The writing tends to repeat, there really isn't much of an plot.

This series of novellas was okay for erotica. Not so much for romance and plot. More of an emotional connection between characters and a stronger plot would have benefitted the stories as a whole and helped garner interest for the rest of the series. Based on these three stories, I won't read more of the series.

Volume #1 (three books) was filled with gorgeous, passionate, dominate, alpha males dealing with their attraction toward that one special headstrong, feisty women they couldn't live without. All of the stories were exciting and fast-paced. This volume will keep you interested until the last paragraph. Good Read!!!!

I didn't see the transformation coming but it made sense since the Ariss storyline needed to be resolved. I wonder if we'll see any hybrids (vampires/lykaens). 3 stars

These books are erotic and really not for the easily offended. They were really good in a lemony sort of way. If you want a book that you can read and enjoy for what it was meant to be this series is good. There is a good story line and the pace is fairly quick. There was angst and drama but it was quickly tied up and dealt with. Plus there is a great supernatural aspect that is fun and makes plenty of excuses for sex after just meeting a person ;).

I really enjoyed the fist book but the 2nd and 3rd were just bleh to me. I couldn't really get invested in the characters enough to really connect with them. I found myself skipping pages and pages of gratuitous sex scenes that really didnt' add anything to the story. I've decided that I won't continue with this series given the fact that I only finished the books in the last week and couldn't even remember what they were about. bleh!

Rounded up from 1.5 stars. Some plotting and editing issues and I think some characters and their backgrounds needed further development. Might have worked better, for me, with shorter stories (less plot/action) or longer stories with less erotica. I found the balance awkward.

I very much enjoyed these three books - The stories flowed smoothly from one to the next and would have stood alone easily! I enjoyed the characters -they were well thought out and meshed nicly!! I can see the opportunity for more in this series and will be on the hunt!!
