A bit niche of a coffee table book, but interesting nonetheless. Obviously, it reads like someone who was going to defend the sale of ivory and whale bone, because it was written at the time the laws were changing. This book had more than I ever could imagine I wanted to learn about the art of carving whale teeth into handles and other artwork.
