My first book by Ruby Wilde & I just love Bossy Silverfox Protector, such a great age gap romance.
Eden met Maverick while she was on spring break. He was so kind to her when her ex put something in her drink. She found him so attractive, the dark, tattooed older but handsome Maverick. They had fun til he left.
They met again at her job, he's her boss. She has a secret while still dealing with her ex and his craziness. Does Maverick want to take that on while dealing with the work issue and his own issues from his past? See what happens between Maverick & Eden and see what happens with her ex thrown in the mix. A wild, steamy ride of a story and you won't be disappointed!

Excellent, simple and full of twists

It's an excellent romance, full of twists and turns from the first chapter almost to the last. The characters are touching without being silly despite Eden's starting situation which is rather innocent.
I liked the evolution of his character after meeting Maverick.
The story is touching, tender, torrid but also intense by the suspense part of the repetitive attacks.

Bossy Silverfox Protector is a contemporary age gap romance with a hint of an enemies to lovers trope. This book features Eden Peterson and Maverick Locke.
Eden is a student who is wrapping up her studies and hoping to find work in HR after she graduates in a couple of months. She meets Maverick while on Spring Break. He steps in when Tyler, her cheating, abusive ex, tries to reconnect and spikes her drink. Maverick whisks her away for medical attention.
After the drug clears her system, the two cannot deny their attraction to one another. Their make out session quickly escalates and Eden decides she's finally ready to lose her virginity. Maverick isn't sure he wants to be her first, but they talk it out, and enjoy a very passionate night.
One night turns into several, and Eden spends the rest of her break with him. When she wakes up on the last day, she finds a note, but Maverick is gone. She is hurt and disappointed in the way things ended, but she doesn't have any recourse. Eden returns to her routine and finishes up her degree. She also secures a position with a finance company as an HR generalist.
On her first day in her new job, she learns the company, Montgomery Financial, has been bought out and is now Locke and Montgomery. Little does she know that the Locke in question is none other than Maverick Locke. Neither expected to see the other, and when the two come face to face both are shocked. Eden gets sick to her stomach and is sent home.
Not long thereafter she finds out she is pregnant and subsequently has to navigate what to do. Even though Maverick hurt her in the way he left, she is still very attracted to him. She also knows that it would be highly inappropriate to be involved with the boss. While trying to find her way in this highly unexpected situation, she continues to be harassed by Tyler.
I really enjoyed this book. It was a quick and easy read, and lots of fun. I appreciated how Eden's character evolved from a demure and meek girl into a strong, assertive and confident woman. I also loved how she didn't let Maverick get away with his nonsense. This gorgeous, competent, alpha male is essentially brought to his knees by this woman.
"What the f-- was that?" I yelp, still burned with the aftershock of Eden's brutal reply. "Did she just -" "Go against you, defy you, and cuss you out on the way? Yeah, she did all of the above. That was awesome..."
I smiled a lot while reading this book - both the sassy bits and the spicy ones. I'd definitely recommend picking it up. It contains some romance, some spice, some adventure and a sprinkle of mystery. You can't go wrong.

Eden was on Spring Break in Atlantic City with her friend was drugged and stalked by her ex boyfriend. Maverick was in Atlantic City to wind down from hurt from a crazy ex girlfriend. Eden was laying in the lounge chair in her bikini minding her business when Tyler (ex boyfriend) brought her a drink. Eden asked Tyler to leave her alone but he was trying to kiss her as she was trying to push him away when Maverick intervened. After Tyler drugged Eden, Maverick took her to his penthouse suite and had the doctor check her out. When she woke her they spent her entire spring break with Maverick. When she graduated she hot her dream job as an HR Generalist with Montgomery company. Maverick had purchased Montgomery Company and became the CEO. on Eden first day, was also Maverick first day. When they saw each other, she got sick and he walked in her office and his associates ran the introductory meeting. From the first day Maverick was the bossy protector and felt he had to protect her from any male who looked at her. He really had to protect her from her crazy ex. Eden discovered she was pregnant and she was trying to figure out how she was going to handle everything. This is a great love story and the storyline was on point. I highly recommend, this is a great read.

Eden is on a trip with her best friends trying to get over the drama she just had with her ex. When said ex tries to talk to her and get her back a stranger steps in to protect her. When Eden meets this stranger they have an immediate connection and chemistry. When Eden's ex slips her something it's Maverick who will be there to make sure she's safe. Now they spend time together and when they part ways Eden isn't sure how to feel. Now weeks later they are thrown back together again and Maverick is not sure what to do with his feelings for Eden and the protectiveness he feels for her. These two will have to attempt to work together as well as keep it professional. What happens though when they slip and things start to turn? This story was so beautiful and I just love the strength and sassiness of Eden.

When she graduates from college, she accepts a job in HR at from her ex. a financial corporation. Unbeknownst to her Maverick has purchased the company putting them both at odds but the connection between them is still there. Weeks later Eden discovers that she is expecting a child and maverick is the father, but she is also having issues with her ex that won't leave her alone. Will maverick be able to keep her safe. This story kept me glued to the pages from start to finish.

Ooo this was an age-gap winner for me! Our gorgeous bossy silver fox Maverick Locke is just the right mix of aloof and invested in Eden, keeping the tease and the tension alive throughout.
Maverick and Eden made a lot of sense together, and in a weird way I was okay with his initial leaving of her, because what else could they do? I mean it was a moment in time and they had fun...but it ends. It kinda annoyed me that she was pregnant - I mean do these characters ever use protection? It's not rocket science.
Still, a nice spicy and at times funny read.

Bossy Silverfox Protector is an age gap office romance between Eden, who has a surprise interaction with her abusive ex boyfriend during Spring Break before graduation which included his spiking her drink, and Maverick, who rescues her from the situation which turns into a fling until her last day of vacation. After graduation, Eden is hired into an HR position only to run into Maverick who is her new boss. This well written romance has strong independent characters, surprises, witty banter, steamy attraction, an abusive ex boyfriend, and an unexpected pregnancy.

I really thought this next book would just be 'Bossy', lol! Can I have an order of a bossy silverfox protector, please? To go? I think I need one in my life, too. If not for the typos and grammatical issues I think I would enjoy this more but the story was too good that I easily pushed past it.
This story is an age-gap romance that includes a damsel in distress, a knight in shining armor, and a villain we would all love to hate! I couldn't put it down, it was a wonderful read.

While on Spring break with her best friend, Edens ex decides he wants to get back together. When she turns him down he spikes her drink!!! But Maverick comes to her rescue. The older man is a sexy bad boy tattooed billionaire, who she has a fling with. But when they realise that she works for him they shelve their relationship, ignoring their chemistry, until she realises she's pregnant. Their journey to HEA makes for great reading. I will be reading more of this author as she's new to me!.

Eden and her best friend travel to Florida for their last spring break before graduating from college. At a Tiki party, Eden's ex, Tyler, goes up to her attempting to sweet-talk her into taking him back. When Eden says no, to get lost, Tyler loses it and Maverick steps in to play the hero, which he does quite well. This story contains scenes of abuse and is full of romance and steam, ending in a HEA. Very highly recommended.

The push pull of the supposedly shelved relationship really carries this story. It's romantic, steamy and full of drama with an intensity all its own.
The rapport between them is funny and carries over to an intense attraction.

When Eden and her suite mate go to Atlantic City for spring break, Eden isn’t quite happy about the week, however, when her cheating ex-boyfriend shows up and causes problems and a hot guy fescues her the week begins to look up. The resulting story of Eden, Maverick and Tyler’s escapades is very exciting. I would recommend this book to anyone looking for a good story that brings together a good guy and his love.

Wowsa this book was absolutely fantastic and will definitely have you engrossed from the beginning until the end. Eden is on spring break when her ex drugs her and Maverick steps in and saves her ,but when one night with Maverick ends up more than they bargain for with him being her new boss and her ex stepping up and trying to hurt her can he protect her or will it all blow up into something dangerous? Great story!!!.

I give this a 3.5 or 4 star rating I really enjoyed the story as a whole but wasn't the biggest Fan of a few small parts in it but they weren't all that big so I didn't mind them i do think there was a he where there should be she like Once or twice I also wasn't the biggest fan of there nicknames I was able to look past it and I'm glad I did even if it isn't my favorite story It was still such a good one and a fast read

A good progression from book 1
I liked the premise of this book. Things heat up pretty quickly between the two main characters, Maverick and Eden. There were two side plots tagged on to the main story- the crazy ex-bf and the new boss/employee angst with a hidden pregnancy thrown in for good measure.
I think the book tried too hard to seamlessly merge these secondary aspects, but it didn’t quite work. Entertaining, none-the-less!

Great story!
Maverick as CEO of his business. Eden just graduated from college and got a H.R. job. On spring break she meets a guy and they have great sex for the week. He leaves a note and said thanks but that was the end. She is upset but happy about her new job, until the new CEO walks in and they make eye contact. Wow , what a lot of ups and downs in this story. It’s a need to read story!

Spring Break
Eden can't believe her luck when Maverick comes to her rescue. Tyler her ex-boyfriend isn't being nice and Maverick is there to save the day. Tall, handsome and making her feel good she is happy her spring break turned out so well. Then reality hit as she got back to her dorm.

Eden and Maverick’s story has them fighting their chemistry since they both had past experiences that left lingering scars. But this story has a few twists and drama and intrigue that keeps you reading.

I really enjoyed reading this book. The heat, the love and the hea are all truly satisfying. The characters are relatable and human. I can't wait to read the next book by this author.

It was too angsty and they were never really together. The crazy boyfriend that was a stalker and no one called the cops even though he hit her. It was just to much drama and zero romance.

Wonderful book
This book has scenes that may be alittle sensitive to some but otherwise it was good book to get away for a couple hours or afternoon on the beach.

I loved Maverick and Eden’s book. It was an entertaining, fun read. Didn’t want to put it down. And am voluntarily leaving my review.
