Thanks to the advances in technology, globalization is becoming an increasing part of our lives and it is important to teach children about the different cultures they may encounter. Mail Carrier Extraordinaire does exactly that in a fun literary setting. In her first of many adventures, Millie, along with "Petey", the Postal Truck, is decorating Post Office Station 4 for the neighborhood's St. Patrick's Day Party. They are interrupted by a desperate Mr. Hooper who has a package that must be delivered to his niece, or she will not be able to participate in the Irish Festival. The task seems simple enough, but Mr. Hooper does not have his niece's address, but a cryptic riddle instead. In order to deliver the package in time, Millie must learn a few things about the Irish culture in order to solve the riddle.
