Trudee's great-granddaughter over helping her to clean the house when she tells her, "baby, never marry a man, and never marry a "Puerto Rican" man." Doris asks, "Why not grandma; you married one." Trudee looks at her great-granddaughter with hateful eyes and says, "That bastard is dead. I hate him and I hate you...the dead bastard was no good and look at you; you're a part of him." Doris looks into her great-grandmother's eyes and says, "Why are you so bitter?" Trudee tells her, "I will be bitter until my dying day, all because of that dead bastard and you!" Reading this now, it is a ( Whirled Wind) of a Story ( Short Form).
It is about 4 women, all ages 75 years and older, telling a young woman of 21 years, About why, they were forced to marry at very young ages.
Which is very tearful, and deep at times.
The Author breaks down each woman's life and tell of what happen to them, that lead to them being forced into their marriages in America.
Trudee is the harden, she is angry, at 85 years old and she is very bitter.
42 Pages of hard facts and good stuff. It reads fast but it is also on point.
Books has , Sexual Content ( rape) not graphic, but is written to express the painful crime of it. Very ( Violent ) at times also, due to abusive Husbands.
Age 18 and over Only.
