New Companions, and New Loves
Detective Lydia Diaz that has helped on the break-in at Anthony’s Bar and Grill, brings them new information and reports that Clarissa’s ex has been in jail the entire time since he can’t seem to keep from doing wrong long enough to stay out of jail. Michael Ravenwing the forest ranger has taken a shine to the Detective as she has to him, both have been raised as well as Jolene and Clarissa hearing and learning of the old ways and medicine for others. Lydia brought out that all the things mostly, like the stones and the sweet gun pods Are all signs from of old for protection and safety. Cerberus has taken off for hours and they have finally found him watching over a little girl small enough that Anthony can carry her easily in his arms. Gary Nelson is confronted by Cerberus the big Doberman and five people when he was in the woods taking pictures of birds. They were Clarissa ,Jasper, Anthony, Jolene and Emma. The confrontation was due to strange incidences of rock piles and back-door being unlocked at Emma’s home .When they get back from camping the “Rock Bar “ is vandalised and Clarissa's upstairs apartment ransacked. Detective Lydia Diaz comes to investigate. Clarissa tells her of her previous relationship with her school sweetheart and the sour relationship it had turned into and how he was now stalking her. A exciting finish to the read. I am on the ARC team and leave a honest review. I recommend this book to other readers.

Sunset Hearts Book Four focuses on Lydia, a new detective to the area who has found Clarissa’s ex can’t be a part of the strange events which are occurring, and Michael, a wildlife preserve ranger. Lydia and Michael begin to see Emma, Anthony, Clarissa, Gary, Jolene, and Jasper on a social basis and eventually become part of their close group. But when Cerebus disappears into the preserve he leads Anthony and Michael to a surprise.

Detective Lydia Diaz is featured in this book. She gave a report on Clarissa’s ex Patrick. She is taken with Michael, and the pair is instantly part of the group. A theory develops about the strange arrangements. Just as the group is enjoying dinner, they noticed Cerberus is missing, and the search is on.

Definitely a cliffhanger ending. Thank you to the author for this ARC. This review is my honest opinion.

Wow! Ivory Fields has a great storyline going with this series of books. The characters all mesh so well together. I cannot wait to see what the next book brings. This book ends on a cliffhanger. I was given an advanced reader copy of this very well written book by the author and I am freely sharing my review.

This a excellent story about friend and now Lydia is becoming friends and meeting Michael . The dog comes up missing and they hunt and find him a a young child. Thank you Ivory and this was a arc copy.
