Franklin, having been terribly frightened about his first day of school in the morning, finds that his worries were for nothing as his experience turns out to be quite enjoyable in the end.

This would be a great book to read to students at the start of a new school year, ecspecailly when they are starting kindergarten. I would reccomend this book for children in kindergarten to second grade.
I would read this to students at the beginning of the year since it talks about the first day of school. Franklin is a turtle that is nervous to start school, but falls in love with going to school.
Awesome first day of school reading! I think young readers would be able to relate to Arthur's anxiousness and then see that school isn't so bad after all.
