Yes, this is a textbook, but we had to read the entire book for my Behavioural Ecology class so figured it could count for something :) A surprisingly good read, it covered a wide range of topics and I actually found it super interesting!

Heard about the topic from David Solan Wilson and initial interest comes from Sapolsky lectures.

Robert has provided initial framework for behavioural ecology so this book going into more detail has help me understand the topic better.

Easy intro into the subject, so I can’t complain and it’s not too dry or convoluted which is a hard balance to get as there’s a lot of nuisances that is better left discussed in more “advanced” books.

had to read for class but this was quite enjoyable. easy to understand as it was structured well and used mainly simplistic language
