Can one idea be worth a million dollars? Advertising mogul Reiman discusses his formula for creating million-dollar ideas. A guidebook for every entrepreneur.
Second book of the 2025 book reading challenge at work. Honestly kinda mid. The book was written in the late 90's and already feels very dated with the references of the time. The author also tries to make predictions about the future (now) and it was just kind of funny to laugh at. Still, there were some solid principles to glean and I liked all the Atlanta references.
I do not know. He told us his dream of what is going to happen but at the end of this I do not know how we can apply his dreams to a practical landscape. I did read this over a period of time so I may not have kept the continuity as I should have, but...
I thought this book was interesting. Recommended to me by a leader I admire.
It felt somewhat out of date and like the author had a conflated ego in some areas but the challenge to think well and be intentional with ideation instead of just always jumping to action was helpful!
JR is one on the leading authorities and pratictioners in collaborative thinking and neuro-marketing. Fantastic book to read as an introduction to the topic and how "thinking" industries need to review their processes.
