About the author

H.A. Maxwell Whyte (1908–1988) embarked on a journey in ministry that was fraught with uncertainty and an absence of familiar landmarks when he was sovereignly led by the Holy Spirit into an understanding of demonic activity and spiritual warfare. As is so often the case with pioneers, he was misunderstood, ridiculed, and ostracized by the Christian community, even in his own city of Toronto. Despite great opposition, he forged ahead in the battle against the forces of Satan, convinced that the ministry of deliverance was scripturally based and was being restored to the church. Later, he began to record his experiences, and over the next two–and–a–half decades, he authored eighteen books. His first book, The Power of the Blood, has been translated into several languages and is widely distributed throughout the world, selling over 500,000 copies internationally.

I really liked this book. There are a lot of things to learn in here about the entire ministry of Christ- which expelling demons was a big part- it extends way beyond John 3:16! Lots of Christians (and non-Christians) just do not know the reality of the demonic realm and this book really sheds light on that. One that I will probably read at least twice. This is a book that I will be lending out as well.

There's a lot of truth to this book, from a Pastor's point of view in ministry, those who have or wanting to see a psychic, those are not your dead relatives there communacating with, there demons/evil spirit's.
It's like going to visit some random Occult Satanic family member and ask them how your dead relatives are doing, like they care? they only know what they know, because there the ones behind the scenes, with there magic,casting there evil craft into Christian life's and want us to come back crawling to the ones who sent it to get rid of it.

Which of course they only make worse, Because your giving them a door to open into your life whenever they want. Give Jesus our lord,Full reign of your life and body and everything in it, Don't seek the devil for anything, period. Do your self a favor and cover your self with the blood of Jesus, Call on the holy spirit to fill you with his holy light so spirits of death and darkness won't want to reside in you and won't be able to with the holy spirit, you are a temple of God, Let god know who your representing, welcome him into your heart. If you trusted on the Lord God you wouldn't be seeing out Psychic's. Confessing your Christian faith during mass and being derailed as soon as you walk out the door? bring Jesus home with you, he is life everlasting, keep the darkness out, and let your relatives Rest in peace.

This book offered a wealth of knowledge about the ministry of deliverance from demonic forces.
