Never underestimate a Burned Out Old Broad. This time it is an adventurous road trip along US Highway 2 for the three retired widows, Hadley Joy Morris-Whitfield (socialite and volunteer), Dr. Robinson Leary (retired English professor), and Mary Rose McGill (housewife and sweet Catholic girl) along with new BOOB Girl Esmeralda St. Benedict, a gorgeous gypsy. From the opening crash of an entrance by Frieda Grossemouth to Esmeralda's foggy exit, follow along as the group treks west from Omaha's Old Market to Fort Robinson. The main characters in Joy's novels the Burned Out Old Broad novels are affectionately called the BOOB Girls. Joy believes that older, seasoned women are beautiful too!

The BOOB girl adventures go on in book 3 as the ladies travel to Ft. Robinson in Nebraska and each lady along with WEs and Wiley encounter their own dream of the past. Esmerelda was a fascinating character. A GREAT read!
As with the 1st two books in this series, it was a quick, easy read...& I enjoyed it. I enjoyed learning something about Nebraska's history at Ft. Robinson, & about the sandhills of Nebraska too. Learning something new like that usually earns an extra star in review from me!
I enjoy the Burned Out Old Broads. Sure hope I'm the same way when I reach their age. Very entertaining and the Old Broads are such great characters. Read it!
