I was looking for BabyWise or The 90 Minute Sleep Solution at the library, but they only had this book (it's a new library and they're not fully stocked yet). Due to lack of sleep, I was desperate. So, I read it, but there really wasn't any new info. in it for me. I just used the sleeping through the night info. from What to Expect the First Year (short and sweet section. Now baby sleeps at least 8 hrs/night. Hallelujah!
This was ok, I didn't read it all the way through. I really didn't use any of the tips because I had heard them all before. I still feel guilty if I have to let my son cry it out... but after reading the first few chapters I realize that he NEEDS to learn how to fall back to sleep on his own & that I'm not doing him any favors by "rescuing" him everytime he wakes up. This was not the magic fix I was hoping for, but I don't think I'll ever find something like that anyway.
