Chyyyyy the way Charae took us down a whole rabbit hole of foolishness was crazy!!! Like wtf!!! 🤯🫠😳!! Before you read this, you have to read “My Little Love” by Charae. This is where we were first introduced to Amoni Cash, Akil’s younger brother and I was not expecting this side of him AT ALL!! Like I legit HATED him in the book and had Charae ended this book any other way she would’ve had to see me!

Amoni was the most manipulative, narcissistic, selfish, unreasonable man and he deserved way worse than what he got. The book starts out with Ming and Amoni in a fairly new (4 months) relationship. They are vibing and enjoying each other. Well like the saying goes, if things are too good to be true, they probably are. Amoni’s ex re-enters the picture and wants her man back. Amoni’s greed leads him to not only take his ex back but to convince Ming to stick around as well! Like what?!?!!! It was the audacity for me!!! It was the manipulation for me!! It was the unmitigated gall for me!!! Like the way this man took these women on a journey of pure deception had me yelling “GET UP” no less than 100 times!!! Whew these women were too smart and successful to allow Amoni to play in their faces the way that he did and to get away with it for as long as he did!

Big Day!!!! Baby he put forth big pressure!! Big 🍆 energy!!! Big bank takes little bank!!! Big boss energy!! I mean he was everything!! I absolutely loved his character and he was exactly the breath of fresh air we needed at her breathing in all of Amoni’s toxicity.

Big Milano can STILL have my 🍑 to kiss and regardless of his “reformed” mindset he will always be the same low down evil man he was in My Little Love.

This book took me on a rollercoaster ride and what a ride it was! I have zero regrets and the book owes me nothing!!

And a crazy love it was. It was so much foolishness going on. Definitely kept my attention the whole book. I’m glad Ming was able to leave Amoni’s arrogant self.

I was so apprehensive about this story but in true Charae fashion, she tied this one up real nice lol! It was Big Day and Ming for me! I wanted to see Armoni with an HEA but honestly, he was not ready for a relationship and Pina didn’t have bad enough karma for me 😂. Nonetheless, I enjoyed this one!

Not what you will expect

Phenomenal storytelling. This is probably my favorite read by the author. Just when you thought a certain HEA would come the author switched things up so smoothly giving us the HEA we deserved and didn't know we needed it until it happened. Ming was center staged starting with a crazy proposition that Amoni threw her way. When Ming realized that her self worth and self love take priority, I applauded her. Then Big Day happened and I was all in. The character development, right dose of drama and engaging storyline with the best mix of villains and heroes worked for me. 2023 has given me great reads including this one.

Needs a thesaurus or an editor

The story was okay, but I quickly became distracted by the author’s repeated and incorrect use of the words “simpering” and “simpered.”

The word “simpering” or “simpered” appeared in this book so often I wondered if readers were expected to take a shot each time one of the words was used.

MING AND BIG DAY ❤️

The dynamic between Amoni, Ming, and Pina was a mess. Pina was so annoying, and I just wanted Ming to realize her worth. I loved Kelli because she definitely had Ming's back and wanted her to see that she deserved better than settling for what Amoni wanted. Although Amoni despised his father, he was just like him in some ways. His need to be in control of how his relationship with Ming and Pina played out was exactly how Milano Sr had his sons.
Ming finally gets to see her worth and that she is worthy of finding someone who is for her and her only. Big Day was definitely the one to get her to see that. I actually loved them together, and the meeting of their families was beautiful.
These characters have had their share of ups and downs, with some having the best outcome while others had to endure some things to see the error of their ways. Overall this was a great read on just how crazy love can be.

For sure crazy

These people stressed me out. Ming made me mad so many times because she knew she was worth more then what Amoni was giving her. Pina was just frustrating too. Amoni had a little of audacity to treat them like that, but they allowed it.
I was glad when Ming finally wanted more for herself, but it took Big Day to come along to see it. Unfortunately, that's what it takes sometimes. Sometimes it takes someone showing you what you've been missing to know what you really want.
I would recommend this book, but be prepared for a ride.

My Crazy Love!! Semi spoilers!!

This was definitely crazy.... from the relationships to the family dynamics. The thing I most like were the reality of the situations in this story. Everyone had their moment where it's like I can't be like this or deal with this anymore. Honestly it's the character development for me. Amoni definitely had his cake and ate it too but it took Ming herself to be done with it. I feel like the situation with Pina was just the tip of the iceberg, the needed push for sure. Amoni turned toxic but could not handle what he was dishing out. His mama hit it on the head, Ming owed him nothing and it's her right to be done with a situation that did not suite her anymore. But of course Big Day turned all that around. You never know what you're missing until you start getting it and Day was not letting up. In all honesty if Amoni was for Ming Dayton wouldn't have been able to get in. Now I liked Day low key and mysterious because it made you intrigued wanting to know his story. When it was told it made me just like him that much more. But when it came to Ming Day ain't play no games. He showed her what being the only one means and how when your man loves you without no limits should be. Amoni loved Ming but not in the way she deserved and Ming loved herself more to get out of that crazy situation. Pina was weird but I blame her mama cause she did it to her daddy.

Cruel and harsh world

The way that Charae wrote Pina’s character was cruel and painful. Why did Ming get to grow, prosper and find new love when she actually accepted sloppy seconds for an experience and connections? Pina only had 1 man ever and that was Amoni. That negro used and abused her. Everyone around Pina gave her bad advice from her mother to Arene. Yet, Ming always got the truth and support. She was more silly than Pina because she had experience and been around the block a few times. She should’ve stepped back and left Amoni alone immediately. She was the sick one. What is wrong with Charae? We are supposed to see Charae as a good girl? Hell no! She disgusted me the most. Pina deserved a good man too. Amoni was evil and selfish. Why did he have to interfere with Pina’s career? Sure she lied about being pregnant but that wasn’t for child support. She just wanted her man back full time. He was her 1st love and everyone can relate to that type of love because it is dangerous and pushes you to do really stupid things. Pina mistakenly stood by Amoni through thick and thin. For what?!

What do we expect from a woman that has been with only one man that she fell in love with in high school? She didn’t know how to be any other way. Amoni supposedly loved her and stood by her for 10 yrs but he blamed her for EVERYTHING that happened in the other relationship. He never saw the roll that he played. There was no growth for him. Charae should’ve written a better outcome for Pina. She made it seem like Pina was a bad seed and deserved the cruel treatment because of WHAT? Acting like her mom taught her, being there for her man when he needed her, or being afraid of losing someone she has loved most of her adult life?

This was a sad book and I am so disappointed.

Unputdownable Perfection

Whew, Charae Lewis knows how to spin a tale that has you stuck. The writing is pure smoothness as each character in this romantic romp feels fully formed. We see the decisions play out and get the play by play. I wouldn't say this is a romance, but it's definitely a romantic fiction. We watch Amoni decide he doesn't want one girl but two. We start off with Amoni telling his girlfriend that an ex popped up and he has decided to keep both.

#PolyorNah
"Don't worry, it won't affect you," he smooths out, and that begins our tale. As the drama unfolds, we can't help but gasp at the audacity and root for each character to get the outcome they deserve. The twists and turns of the street love story aren't heavy on the Mafia, but it does feel a little Mafia adjacent.

#RelatableCharacters #WrongSideoftheTracks
Watching Ming realize how love is meant to fill you up and the definitely of BDE Day brings to the table some deliciousness. Charae gives good quick, explicit scenes that fill the space, and before you know it, the book is devoured with the quickness.

#RAN
Day will turn you out with how he carries his attraction and love. The comparison isn't lost. The realness he provides and thoroughness is 🤌🏾. "Nah, I'm going to come see a N* and check a man who puts his hands on mine" 🥵 By the time he's demanding in bed what the do is it will be a wrap.

#StreetAction #Crime
Here we have Amoni trying to navigate the stress of having a selfish parent. Willing to bring down the family into destruction for greed. It's a good balance with the romance angle and pulls you in for a show. It also helps that each character has good and bad with shortcomings that make sense to who they are as people.

My Crazy Love

Okay there goes another hit. Only Charae Lewis could have me finish a 418 page book in one damn day. This book "My Crazy Love" is sort of a misdirected. I went in thinking this was going to be about Amoni and his unconventional relationship in a way it was but it was way more then I originally that. Amoni was a selfish a$$ nigga. From the first page this negro is already finesse Ming to agree with the three way relationships. His ego and selfishness was his downfall unfortunately by the time he realize it was to late cause my man Big Day was already in there. I kinda felt bad for Pina but she should know tricks are for kids. Surly didn't see her mama helping her after her lie backfired. Ming and Dayton I did not see there relationships coming but oh am I so glad it did. There was a instant attraction from their first site but Ming was attached. Dayton didn't give the 1 nor the 2 F cause he knew he could offer Ming want she deserved. The Cash Family loses were kinda expect Sr hand done such harm to his family and it almost cost him his life. I kept waiting on Mrs. Arene to boss on Sr behind but she kept siding with him. Whew I done said a mouth full so let me leave it at this if you looking for a book a that's will have invested from beginning to end then you definitely need to read.

Charae did it again!

This book was so good, it was interesting reading from Amoni point of view and I can honestly say that it was crazy and I didn’t expect him to do what he did to Ming, he was dead wrong and let his emotions get the best of him! Men love to get mad when us woman don’t work in their favor, just move on and let it go!. Ming definitely has a hold on his heart and hopefully one day he can heal and move on. I don’t think he’s a bad guy he just need time to heal from his own mistakes. Mingggggg was my girl but I have to say that baby, you put yourself in that situation and you accepted what he offered you, so you already knew that the situation wouldn’t be perfect. I’m just glad that she saw her worth and moved on with Big Day 💗. I’m glad that her friends and Big Day let her know that she was selling her self short in that three way relationship! I was nervous for a minute that she wasn’t going to give Day a Chance because she was so gone off Amoni. Once Big Day got in he was in! I’m glad that Ming knew her worth and let Day love her the right way! Charae you never disappoint good job boo💗

😍😍😍

I love Charae Lewis.

This book was so good and so different from what you would expect. Amoni is the main character and he didn’t get the happy ending. Every character in her books is excellently developed, but you automatically assume Amoni is going to make his mistakes, learn his lessons, and live happily ever after. But that’s not what happened and in real life that ain’t what happens. The woman Amoni wanted ended up happy and in love with someone else. Amoni’s enemy no less. I hate that Amoni didn’t get what he wanted. Because as crazy as he was I loved his ass. But everything that happened to him was a result of his decisions motivated by pure selfishness.

I also loved Dayton and Ming’s chemistry. From the beginning they were on each other, even when she chose not to act because of her relationship. The slow build up paid the fuck off.

Fuck Pina. But I feel like after all that time Amoni was with her he should have known what she was on to some degree. But that’s a testament to how much Amoni was not paying attention to his women. Most men can’t handle polyamorous relationships. There’s a responsibility that comes that they really don’t want no parts of. They just wanna fuck on multiple women with impunity.

Anyway. Loved this book … of course.

lacking luster

The reviews on this story are very untrue. While the author (whom I’m very familiar her work) wrote a readable story meaning there are characters and a storyline that flows mostly. The was no emotion in the story. For this to be a love story between ming and Day it was very little with them together in a loving way if at all. They had no chemistry. While the womanizer Amoni was throughout the entire story from start to finish made it very unsatisfying there’s no way to enjoy the could of been love story of Ming and Day. So disappointing I finished the book because I started and Charae usually comes though we all off moments though. I’m not sure what has happening since the pandemic but none of my fav writers have come through with anything original or entertaining nothing has been giving me any feels. May be time to switch genres and the five star reviews left are all cap.

Maaaaaannnnn!!!

Charae had me in her clutches with this one. I’ve done nothing but read this book all day. Every time I tried to walk away and watch something or do anything else. My mind went back to this story.

I CANNOT stress how satisfied and happy I was with the ending. Relieved.

Each time the remaining percentage dwindled and things seem to be going in the direction I hoped- I did a little dance.

This was most definitely an unusual romance, because it seemed we were going to get a HEA for one couple. Only to find out, naw sis- that fella ain’t the one.

In effort to not spoil it. I will say, one male character was full of ish. The level of audacity this fool had was astounding. At one point I started highlighting all the ways he had the world “f”ed up.

But that ending! Shout out to Ming.

It’s the Manipulation for me!?!?

I can’t tell you how many times I rolled
My eyes at Ming and the lame that is Amoni.

The pacing was slow on this one and too much time was spent on the initial relationship. When, Day was finally introduced I speed read to get to their parts.

Also, what is with this author and having FMC eating fast? The FMC did the same thing in her book titled “We Could Never Be.” either way, the banter was cute between Day and Ming but, I really wanted more of the book devoted to them. Because Amoni was an ass clown to the fullest!!

Pleas give Pina a spin off!! That poor girl needs an redemption story!

2 ⭐️ book and that’s pushing it 🤦🏾‍♀️

Two star book it dragged out. The main characters did not get enough play Ming and day. I don’t like the end and how it dragged out before we even knew that he was all right after getting shot and the scene was str bs. Got us to know he was still alive. It was too much childishness in it and I don’t like the way Ming took forever to figure out who she wanted to be with, and there was no connection. She didn’t have no connection with neither men to me I didn’t see it. She didn’t show no affectionate, no love towards them. She was just a childish, yes woman. I’m very disappointed ☹️ in this dragged out book with a puck-a** ending

This book was everything!!!! I am so happy with the way it ended. Amoni got exactly what he deserved at the end…no damn body😂😂 the audacity of how he treated Pina and Ming. And the simple fact that he loved Ming more but still had her sharing his ass had me so happy when she dumped him!!! I got a kick out of his begging and loved it even more when she still gave him the cold shoulder. How handled Pina’s career though was effed up 😂😂 but it is what it is. So happy that Ming ended up with Dayton. He showed her her worth from the start and I loved it. I recommend this book. It was an awesome read and I’m so happy it ended the way I wanted it to….Amoni being depressed and lonely 😂😂

I Loved It!

This was a different book for me and in a very good way! It’s refreshing to read about someone who is already in a relationship find their match in someone else. To know that Ming broke away from the toxicity her and Amoni were in really touched me. I was so happy for her and Dayton. I also enjoyed reading about her friendship with Kelli; I love how honest she was with Ming. A lot of us need a friend who will always want what’s best for us and to tell us what we NEED to hear. Great job, Charae ❤️

Day and Ming

This was some kinda book. It's sad how Milano drove his fam to the measures they went resulting in him almost dying but yet losing his grandson to death and his oldest to the prison system. He should have just let his family live their lives and not dictate it for them because if he did Mj would be free and Meako would be alive. Amoni was something else he had to learn the hard way that you can't believe what you are doing is right. Ping she was crazy and deserved no happiness. I am glad that Ming finally found her true love in Day.

Good read!

This was a good read. It was a unique storyline that was very entertaining. The characters relationships were complex. I would read book 1 because the stories are very interconnected. The Author showed up like she always does and gave us a well written story with a good flow. The character development was very good. Ms. Lewis definitely wins in the character development department. 5+⭐️‘s for me.

crushed it!!!

This book had me in a choke hold. I’ve never read a book so fast in my life. I finished it in a day and it was amazing. Charae never disappoints with her work and this book had me on edge. Pina was a few fries short of a happy meal and deserved to get caught. Amoni got on my nerves as well. So glad Ming wised up and move on with her life. I’m not ready to let go of these characters. This book was just that good.

It could all be so simple.

I was apprehensive about reading this book because Charae always throws her readers for a loop. But I’m glad I read it. I personally wasn’t totally against the lifestyle that amoni wanted to live I was against how he let things play out. I loved Dayton confidence and how straightforward he was. I also loved Kelli as a best friend. Any woman could benefit from having a friend like her. This was a good read and now I’m on to the next!

Round of applause 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾. This book was so good. Amoni was so trifling but Pina & Ming allowed him to be, so hey 🤷🏾‍♀️. I was so glad when Ming chucked up the deuces & found her way to Big Day aka Mr Steal Yo Girl 🤭. I was blushing so hard every time Big Day was on page. That man was applying pressha. I had a mini heart attack reading the last chapter but the epilogue made up for it.

I would absolutely recommend this read.
