"With Rage" by Rylie Dark is the fourth book in the Maeve Sharp FBI thriller series, and it’s honestly a solid, fast-paced read. Maeve’s back in Vegas dealing with her dying mom and her brother in jail when she gets pulled into a creepy case—women from a bachelorette party turning up dead, and yeah, it screams serial killer. The plot grabbed me right away and kept the momentum going. It’s the kind of thriller where the emotional stakes feel real, not just background noise. That said, it could use a good round of proofreading — it’s not unreadable, but the rough edges do stand out. If you’re into psychological thrillers with strong female leads and a dark, moody vibe, this one’s worth picking up. Just don’t expect polished prose — go in for the story.

I enjoy reading this series and also enjoy Ms. Dark's writing style, however, this book needs proofreading, serious proofreading. In spite of that, I'm giving the story 4 stars because there's a good storyline, it's fast-paced and grabbed my attention from the beginning.

This book included everything to keep me so focused during a long trip! It was my entertainment and brought me moments of suspense and chills, and I really loved it! I am currently thinking about reading all this thriller saga, that never lets me down.
