I was a little disappointed in the outcome of this part of the story though I can't say it's out of character for Loki. I expected him to be lying to Wiccan, however, with how cold he was being about his betrayal and tricking his friends into coming up with a better solution. Sadly, that seems to be more of a trait of Ewing-style Loki. Watters seems to be paying more homage to the crueller 'sh*t happens' facet of the Norse god, which at least speaks to the tragic nature of his tales. I felt his betrayal also made Hulkling and Wiccan's presence in the story nothing more than a superfluous cameo. But... I'm yet to read the finale.

It's a Young Avengers reunion, of sorts...

One of the broken pieces of Loki's cursed boat has been located. There's a planet that was long barren and cold, but now has a sun burning bright after a terrible war.

Loki calls on his former teammates to help him locate the next piece. Micheladas for everyone!

The art is solid. Follow this artist and follow this writer. Good things ahead for both!

The folks at my favorite comic book store suggested this, because they know I like Hulkling and Wiccan. After reading this, I wanted to go back and read the preceding comics, and found # 1 still available.

Loki's right that Billy and Teddy have matured. They still automatically want to rescue people who are in trouble.
