Tearing through the City of the Dead on his quest to rescue a young runaway, Moon Knight must grapple with his past when he turns to an unlikely source for aid - LAYLA EL-FOULY, A.K.A. the SCARLET SCARAB! But when Marc Spector is faced with a murderers' row of dead super villains whom he helped put in the ground, can even the Fist of Khonshu defy the odds long enough to survive? Who is the JACKAL KNIGHT?
"No matter who you are, we're all haunted in our own way." Still in the City of the Dead, Moon Knight meets his long-lost love, Layla Al-Faouly, now the Scarlet Scarab, protector of the city of the dead. Together they discover and rescue the other child victims of the Sons of the Jackal, but in the end, Marc must face his enemies alone. There was also a very sweet tribute to the late John Romita, Sr.
Me since last issue: This feels like a throwback and I don't know how to feel about that. Me when they bring Randall back: .........this is definitely throwback....
