For the Love of Pumpkins was such a fun, cozy fall romance! 🎃🍂 I really enjoyed the small-town setting, the autumn atmosphere, and the chemistry between Jewel and Mayson. The story had a nice mix of romance, secrets, and finding the courage to move forward after difficult experiences.
I also really appreciated the Christian faith-based elements woven throughout the story. It added a meaningful layer to the characters’ journeys and made the story feel uplifting while still being an enjoyable romance. ❤️
The cozy Halloween and pumpkin theme made this a perfect fall read! 🍁🎃 If you enjoy Christian romance, small-town settings, and sweet seasonal love stories, this is definitely one to add to your fall reading list! 📖❤️
Journey with Jewel and Mayson in this heart warming story. You will laugh during a certain dinner where someone gets wet and giggle when a policeman interrupts when he shouldn’t have. You will get frustrated as the misunderstandings happen, groan when hurt feelings take over, and squeal when their reunion plays out.
It is a clean, wholesome story that points to the love of our Heavenly Father and the joy of finding the one on earth that you can trust always. I thoroughly enjoyed the story and will definitely re-visit it. I received a complimentary copy and these are my voluntary and honest opinions.
WRITER’S BLOCK CAN BE A GOOD THING When Jewel has a bad writer’s block, she is encouraged by her editor to just leave town, disguise herself, and find a place where she can write. This said, she does just that. Enter Blythe…She finds a job and is all excited about working for Mayson…however, he doesn’t know just exactly who she is. One thing leads to another, and he finally finds out who Blyth really is. How does that change the situation? Read and find out. You won’t want to put this one down until you finish it. I read it in one sitting.
What a delightful story! It was so encouraging to see how the characters were led by the Master as they allowed Him to lead each aspect of their lives. Even through the doubt, the discouragement, the fear, the sadness, He was there, ready to instill peace, hope and healing no matter the circumstance. Truly an inspired writing!
I dont love a miscommunication trope. But this one was understandable as she had to hide her identity. It was a cute story, but it just wasn't my favorite story. I did like that it was a "clean" story, with even talk of God. You don't get that much anymore in books.
